★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great space and friendly service. A bit hard to find, but it's convenient to the bus and there are signs to help you find the shop around the corner. This location takes credit cards, as the stall at Chinatown Complex doesn't.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3rd generation spice makers in a hidden shop in my favorite foodie city of all time. I was fortunate enough to have met the daughter who was the shop keeper on the day I stumbled into the store. Incredible helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place if you ever find yourself in Singapore. All the items I bought I was able to transport home in my checked bag without a problem.

Family-run. Great selection of local and international spices and spice-mixes.
The owners even tell you how to prepare the dishes with the spices for the most flavors and have recipes and cooking videos on their website.
The Grandpa's Rub Pepper is one of the best pepper spice mixes I have ever cooked with and I use it for every fish or meat i cook.

They are all natural ingredients and you can rely on them to tell you how to blend the various spices to meet whatever you are cooking and also the amount needed. For those budding chefs, things are made easier as recipes are shown on their packages different dish types. Good place to get quality products and learn at the same time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent old school spice maker. Anthony has been doing this the traditional way and upholding a tradition that goes back years in Straits Chinese cooking. He selects his raw ingredients carefully before mixing each small batch. Reminds me of how grandma used to do years and years ago. Glad to see he has moved to new premises which will enable him to serve a wider clientele. The Laksa, Rendang and curry mixes are tops!
