It all begin, wanting to learn to have a longer breadth hold for mermaiding, has lead me to take up free diving course with Apnea42. It is a great experience, Mark is cool and extremely patient, in guiding me, through the theory, pool and open water sessions. Being a first timer in open water for my AA1 assessment, i am being fearful and nervous. All these negative feelings were all gone, when Mark, look into our well being, that we need to be hydrated, assures you his calmness in water and taking care of my safety each time I dive down in the open waters. Whenever, I go to pool for training sessions, Mark will continue to share his pointers to help me improve further. Thanks to Mark for his great patience and compassionate heart.

Both Mark and Enrico are knowledgeable and patience in their teaching, and they were able to provide clear instructions on how to execute certain techniques (e.g. duck dive) which was great, especially since it may be hard to visualise. Mark (Instructor) was very very patient while I had some trouble with my goggles and he taught the whole course calmly and always encouraging throughout the whole course. Mark is famous in the diver’s community for being a great teacher - very calm, patient, detailed and encouraging. Looking forward to the open waters session and more training in the future!

Pool session with Enrico was fun, he was very professional and sharp in listing out the weaknesses that I have. Overall, as much as free diving may seem scary, both instructors made the lesson less daunting and more enjoyable!
