Mark and Katy is a young and dynamic team who had a great eye for design and ideas. When we first engaged them 8 years back, they were the only ID that took time to listen to what we wanted and how we lived before designing up a mock up. They would also take time to go furniture shopping with us to give advice On design and colour to go with the house. The finished product was great and we had since enjoyed living in our house. Of cos wear and tear happens and after 8 years, they still are responsive when we need their help with repairs or ideas. Overall a delightful experience.

I had the great pleasure of working with Mark and Katy many years ago for the renovations for my parents' apartment. I am a returning customer because back then, they really listened to our family's living habits in our previous home, and incorporated those elements when they re-worked the space in our new family home. This time round, I must say that they have managed to impress me yet again! Their patience and diligence in presenting the most well-rounded solutions that not only respect the owner's personal habits and quirks, yet never compromising on design quality. We had the (hopefully) once in a lifetime experience of working through the ideas during the Circuit Breaker, but Katy and Mark kept closely connected with me throughout the entire period, which meant there was little impact to the overall timeline. When we were finally able to go out and source for purchases, they already had a firm grasp of my likes and dislikes, which made the discussions and decision-making on material etc. super smooth and easy. They also provided their candid feedback and advice on furniture and fittings selection, which really helped me to envision and string together all the different elements in the house. Throughout the works, they worked tirelessly with their crew and even overcame some challenges with my condo management, and of course shared timely updates on the progress as well. I am really appreciative of their help with this project, and will most definitely want to work with them again.

We worked with Mark & Katy 10 years ago when we were moving into our new house. Last year (2020); when we wanted some renovation in the house again our obvious choice was Mark & Katy. It is always a delight working with them. They listen to your needs & requirements; they are very good at space planning. And what was most remarkable was they completed the renovation as per the schedule despite the challenges of worker shortage etc. because of Covid-19 - amazing Project Mgmt. This is our first major home renovation project as we always have this unexplained profound fear of going through massive renovation work and making hundreds of decisions. Unexpected surprises (amplified further by COVID) are almost a given in any renovation project, and could certainly turn the project, from space planning to design, layout, and project schedule, upside down. In addition, having lived in several countries across three continents and have been exposed to home and renovation work that are of different requirements as compared to Singapore, making it even more challenging to find an ID who understands and is able to meet our requirements. Over the past few weeks, we have hosted family and friends. Everyone was genuinely in love and very excited about our newly renovated home (we have certainly lived long enough to know the difference between polite comments and genuine ones?. A few friends went extreme to request our permission to copy our renovation?. And one has requested if she could take a shower to experience our common bathroom shower?! This, to a SIGNIFICANT DEGREE, is due to Artistroom’s Mark and Katy's professional advice, great ideas, and good judgement. Their teams produced impeccable products and work, and every person was a pleasure to work with! Specifically, we would like to shout out the following exemplary works: •The carpenter’s excellent workmanship for the entrance, kitchen, wardrobes, and bathroom cabinetry work. •The tiler’s impeccable skill in making the shower area water flows so perfectly that the floor dries up so quickly (*due to regulation restriction, the common bath layout is such that to access the WC, a guest has to walk past the shower area) •The painter’s meticulous way of painting to perfection! •The electrician’s great skill and patience in installing all the lights in the specific way that we wanted. •Mark and Katy for always being attentive and responsive and guided our choices in a respectful and welcoming way. And we LOVE Katy! For her client-centric, solution-oriented, and pragmatic approach!

Today, after the complete renovation of our 4 bedroom condo unit by Artistroom, we can emphatically say that we made the right and best choice.
