When I got Secondary 1 posting on 22 Dec, I login to the website to purchase uniform for my girl. After 5 hours, I managed to put all the items in the cart and check-out. HOWEVER, when payment was made via credit card, and I entered in the OTP, the website hanged. I did not receive any email confirmation, nor was there any update in the Orders page. In my bank account, there was also no deduction. Afterwhich, I tried again to order past midnight. This time, the website was faster and I managed to purchase all my items. I received a confirmation email shortly too. When I checked the Orders page on 23 Dec, I was shocked to see that I have 2 orders pending shipment update. I immediately called, emailed, SMS but no response was gotten. I finally managed to start calling before 9am on 29 Dec during which the 2 shipments were already on the way. The lady who answered told me she will get her colleague to check but until today, I received no response. Now I have 2 orders of uniforms sitting at home.

Horrid and absolutely no way of contacting after order. The contact us page is useless because the email address is not even working (delivery failure). The office contact is always busy OR no one picks up. AND, the text message contact does not give me any reply. My son is starting school next week on the 3rd Jan, I just need to know the status of my delivery or make a walk-in appointment to purchase if can't reach on time. A very unhappy customer for order #137011. Most horrible user platform ever. =(

I have ordered books online from Asencio without problems except the recent case when Secondary 1 posting was announced. I was slightly lucky to have logged in the website before 7.30am on Dec 22 and managed to order the books/stationary. HOWEVER, when payment was made via debit card, which was verified as "pending" in my bank account, nothing happens - my order status on Asencio website still showed "payment pending". I tried to reach out via mobile, land-line phone, email and even the feedback email on the website - all to no avail - no one replied to my enquiries. This morning on Xmas eve, I checked my bank account and the pending payment amount was cancelled. Therefore, I proceeded to make payment (again) and everything is well again - email confirmation got through and the order status was updated. I hope Asencio can address the two main issues here. One, boost your website bandwidth every December. Two, you have provided several avenues for customers to contact you but it's useless if there is no one on the other end to address them. Now, I hope my order would be in order when delivered. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2022!

I have never had so much trouble ordering school books and uniform. I made an online purchase and the books and uniform arrived a few days before school started. However there were missing items and no indication of what is missing or when it will be available. Been calling and sending emails but no response. Am I to just forget about the items that I have paid for and never received?

Had the same issues as reported by other reviewers: website crashing multiple times, difficulty placing order, no confirmation email when order finally went through, poor customer service, no one picking up phone, no reply to text messages. Our order did come on 31st Dec but the sizing was completely off despite closely following the measuring instructions and sizing chart provided (wrong by 2 sizes!). Had no way of resolving the issue due to lack of communication from Asencio. Luckily the school replied to my email. Kid had to wear primary school uniform on first day but was able to exchange for correct sizes at school uniform shop on 4th. Feel sorry for the company as they are obviously not equipped to deal with the volumes they need to . Just wish their sizing chart was actually correct.

Ordered uniform and PE attire for my secondary one child and order came without PE Shorts. Tried calling so many times but can't get through. Called this morning at 9am when they just opened and they took sometime to check. Called me back and informed that they refunded me the money as the shorts are out of stock and dunno when will stock come in. Hello?! You are the only uniform vendor for my son's school, you dun provide the PE Shorts den where you want me to get from?! You refunded me.. Den case closed? What will my son wear for PE lessons? Not the first time this has happened. My younger gal previously also received her uniform one day before school started. If not able to support all the schools den dun take so many schools. Let other more competent companies do it. Last year go through the stress, this year also. MOE please remove this incompetent vendor!

Stupid ulu place. No place to park and long queue. Selling textbooks and many school uniforms but never plan to expect large crowd especially during year end. Should have better crowd control and put up signage/directions. Tips: if u are here to buy preschool or exchange preschool uniform. Remember to inform the staff. You can skip the main queue.

Bad, horrible, terrible. After gg thru ytd 2hrs queue to buy Fajar Sec Sch Uniform, the skirt the aunty gave was wrong!!! Embarrassed day 4 Jan 2022 for my Sec 1 girl. My girl texted her skirt we bought were wrong! How could the aunty do this n sell us wrong skirt whn we do not know the school uniform. Today 4 Jan 2022, queuing in sch, see the pic tells inefficiency. Worried no stock n ended no skirt. Will approach the Gen Office, tell them what happen!!! Here the story on 3 Jan 2022: Went to Fajar Sec Sch early morning, sch guard said cme bck after 9am. Reached 10.45am, sch guard then said bookshop & uniform not open today 3 Jan 2022. Not sure if tmr 4 Jan open or not. Today then knw about it. Called Asencio at sch guard room, line was engaged. Texted & sent inquiries thru website no reply. Directly go ovr to shop, no parking n security was rude. Reached to shop then see long queue. One parent was telling me they went to their child sec sch, no uniform sizes & had to come to shop today. Been in business for so long, should have anticipated to have better management of customers instead repeating this cycle yearly. Missing key personnel to guide as once lift door open, customers feel lost...buy or exchange, which sch as selling pre-sch uniform too (saw pasted a A4 Landscape paper but not so obvious to many). Was waiting in queue finally saw a lady in white spag top do crowd control & serve mineral water. Kudos to her. But the aunty which serve us was very attitude, ask her help measure, she said not free with measuring tape hang on her neck, ask what size we need, how many sets, very busy. See the storage area where they find the uniforms, then i undstd, anyone will feel faint n angry if to change size after they took the size u wanted.
