β β β β β The food here is good! The salad bar buffet is well-stocked and replenished regularly. The service is great too! Family-friendly place - the kids loved the food and ambience. Only slight issue is the cutlery could be cleaner... perhaps the place is too popular and turnaround time too short to get the cutlery washed and ready. All in all, would still visit though.

β β β β β As a salad lover.
Ok this place has a good spread of salads. You can see the staffs very attentive and constant topping up the food which is very good.
Main course is ok, with with salad.
Drinks, coffee is free flow couple with ice-cream. A note that the soup is a bit salty just in case.

β β β β β Arrived at 6.30pm on a Wednesday evening. There was a short queue and after we were seated, there were only about 3 or 4 empty tables (for 4 pax). Queue outside started forming around 6.45pm.
Ordered hickory chicken and herb fish fillet. Mains are as good as I remembered. Very happy with the salad and sides buffet spread! Glad that there is no time limit for this buffet as we kind of took our time eating and catching up. We were still taking portions from the buffet around 9pm+, although the portions are much smaller because we are quite full. Favourite food from the spread would be the pre-made salads, hashbrowns, garlic bread and muffin. Will return for this again. For people who eat slow, the regular buffet will probably be better than the express lunch deal (which has a 60mins dining duration limit).

β β β β β Ordered Chargrilled, Golden Fried and Fiery Chicken meal, and all came with free flow salad bar and drink. The Fiery Chicken was spicy and would be welcomed by those who can take some degrees of spiciness. The Chargrill and Golden Fried Chicken were standard affair. The buffet salad bar has a large variety of mass market finger food such as potato wedges, onion rings, salad, vegetables soup, ice cream, fruit, hot drink, soft drink etc. For the price of $22.90 (set meal and salad bar), do not have high expectation of the quality of the finger foods. Overall, considering the price and variety of food, it is value for money.

β β β β β Finally the semi buffet concept is back!
Really fun to indulge in the buffet of sides. Adequate variety at a really good price point. The Spanish pork chop was a surprise! Extremely tender, better than many a pork chop I've had in other restaurants! A must order!
Ended the meal with soft serve drizzled with chocolate sauce and a cup of chamomile tea.

β β β β β Healthy buffet spread with a decent variety of items. Grilled fish is done nicely. Very popular, long queue even during weekend afternoon. Reception and cashier by the same person so waiting time is long despite empty tables. Efficiency can be improved for cashiering.

β β β β β Had my late lunch over at Astons Steak & Salad Restaurant today. Reached and there was about 5-6 groups before me with pax of 4 and above.
What I really didn't expect was to wait 1 hour just to get into the restaurant. I understand that it's a weekend but I had a peek inside the restaurant and most of the tables were already done and most of them I spotted were just sitting down drinking theirs sodas and coffees and just chatting among themselves with zero intention of going off. Pretty shock to see this as most buffets will actually impose a dining time limit?
Another feedback that I wanted to raise is that the outlet was severely shorthanded during the period of 2pm onwards. There were tables ready and people starting leaving after my 1hr wait. But there was just not enough staff to clear the tables. The manager had to help clear the tables and process the orders at the cashier. Kudos to them as I can see that they are really rushing around trying to clear the queues and tables.
Buffet wise. I think there wasn't any difference as compare to the ones I had in other outlets. The range of food were decent and taste wise its okay as well.
Come and try but do avoid peak hours.

β β β β β The buffet bar has a decent spread of cold and warm dishes. Service crew will serve upon your order. Soup was too starchy, onion rings too oily. The rest of the buffet items are alright except for the salad dressing and sauces, a tad too creamy and heavy.
