Very bad service. Ordered at 15:50 for dine-in and food was not provided even at 16:10. Asked and they said its coming. Food came only at 16:16 and it was packed and not for dine in.
No sense of urgency while I see them serving all other takeaway orders while we just keep waiting for the dine in order.

Both ayam penyet and fried pomfret were anything but nice.
Ayam penyet:
Normally we would expect it to be a drumstick with thigh (as shown in their menu) but it came as a half kampung chicken. They didn't explicitly explain that it would be so. The half chicken was dry and beyond edible after a few bites especially the chicken breast.
Fried promfret:
How can a fish get so wrong. Its dry, hard, and tasteless.
I seriously wonder how this place gets (in) famous.

Busy playing with her phone (audaciously) while talking to customers; impeccably rude and displayed impatient attitude when explaining the food selections to customer
Eye-rolling at me when I asked for clarification, so rude ! - bravo experience !

β β β β β Went there today and the food was the same as the ones I had in orchard. The malay uncle at the counter was really friendly and the environment is clean and cosy. Sambal was as spicy and if u need more of it, you could just simply inform the service crew for it. Feel a bit bumped that my hubs smashed chicken was bigger piece than mine hahahaha cos the difference was kinda huge. Maybe try to standardise it for the orders from the same table ?

β β β β β $12.90 for Bawal Bakar is really over priced, small, not fresh, cold. Compared the price with what i used to eat at ayam penyet President which is bigger, fresh and is good for 2pax. Soup buntut - little meat and not tender. The kailan is 'dying'. Dessert cendol - only ice and cendol, no other items especially red beans. Dissappointed and will be the first and last for me!!!! In fact not even 1 star shd be given.

β β β β β They basically don't care. Look at my other reviews of other places. You won't find me leaving bad reviews but this place totally warrants it.
The food is already sub par but the attitude is what kills it completely. I gave feedback that their avocado was extremely bitter, they made a new cup and that was bitter too. Then they said "Indonesian style is a little bitter". What?? 7 bucks for that??
I asked to speak with the boss but they said boss not available... And challenged me to leave a review and feedback. So here it is...
Totally absolutely do not recommend. Don't bother.

β β β β β Saw Google reviews and was a bit shocked by the low ratings. Decided to give it a try anyway since am already out and wanted to have ayam penyet. It was good. Spicy yummy ayam penyet that is fresh and hot. Staff are friendly, environment is cosy and clean. Will come back again.

Duck was fabulous so do the pomfret. I hope the owner just makes a simple menu board that can be changed daily.

β β β β β Saw this joint and decided to try it although my guy feel told me not to, as there was only a table occupied.
Odered my meal and regretted. The chicken thigh is so small and it's obviously from a small spring chicken. Very dry too.
The egg tofu has only less than 20 small cubes of tofu too ?
Seriously overpriced. My first and last time here ?
