★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This doesn’t deserve 2 stars. I really like their donuts. Soft and chewy and not too sweet. Love their packaging too!! Actually makes a great gift

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance by this store and saw that the donuts look pretty good. Probably the worst decision I've made and the worst donuts I have ever bought. Was too dense and doughy. Extremely dry and the filling is as per what u see. Only the top part. Totally empty in the middle. N honestly $4 for each, I can probably get smth much better at this price range.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Echoing another review below. Am really surprised to see a 2 star overall rating for this place. I personally think that they have one of the best brioche donuts around. They are extremely generous with the fillings. Bakes' donuts can rival those from some of the more popular places out there, including one that had a 1-mth waiting period when I ordered last year.
Ordered on grabmart and got a nice discount. Worked out to ~$3.50 per donut with delivery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agree with those who gave poor reviews. The donut was really too dense and excessively oily. Didn't pay $4 each for a mantou. Luckily the filling wasn't as stingy as what some reviewers experienced. But seriously, you wanna charge such a high price then make sure that your products are worth that price. I've had way better donuts from Fluff, even KrispyKreme is more worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't bother to finish the donuts, the amount of filling is absolutely disappointing. About 1 dollar coin size?
A normal filled donut should be filled until it is on the verge to explode, but this one is so empty that i need to order from the DD franchise just to feel better from your donuts that had failed to fulfill my cravings.
Also, the cream based filling has a weird texture.
P.S. The reviews I read that says "highly recommended" makes me wonder how many of them are fake. Honestly, even DD/KC franchise is better than this, is there a problem with your taste buds, or your standard are so low that plain oatmeal taste like heaven to you?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, I have no idea why this place has 2 star ratings. These have got to be some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Decadent, indulgent and oh so satisfying. I apologise for the messy pictures, but I only thought to take photos halfway through devouring the box. The filling was thick and rich, oozing out with reckless abandon. Prepare a plate because eating these stuffed bombs of sweet sweet paradise could get messy. 10/10 would order again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't understand why they are given 1star. They definitley deserve more than 5stars. The best donut i have ever had. Not oily at all and the filling is simply delicious and not "stingy". Will definitely buy from them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to give this place a try, the Nutella ones were the best. The rest are cream cheese based, some not very well executed (like the ondeh ondeh where u can see the cream cheese curds in the Pandan sauce… not a good look). The Oreo cream cheese was the latest flavour, but the amount of filling was little.
The texture of the donuts was more similar to a regular bread bun, dense and not airy like I would expect of a donut. For the price I would pay between $2.50 to $3 for each donut, not $4, especially not for the ondeh ondeh. Anyway thanks!
