Was referred by HDB to approach them for replacement of the wooden board covering in the master bedroom (for aircon). Came down to site survey but in the end won't even bother to give appointment to do the job despite reminders by both me and HDB. 1. Contacted on 8 October 2021 - promised to come down to take a look but no follow up. 2. On 11 October 2021, HDB contacted me to ask if the rotting board was replaced as they were concerned it would fall and hit pedestrians passing by below. I replied their term contractor did not follow up yet. HDB contacted them and their guy finally shows up on the day itself to look at the rotting board. Was quoted pricing (which i agreed) and promised a follow-up appointment to replace the board. 3. On 12 October 2021, politely Whatsapped a reminder to give me an appointment. Was given a "noted" reply with no further action. 4. On 14 October 2021 tried calling the phone number of the site surveyor to request for update on the appointment. Called was not answered and no return calls were received. 5. Forward to now 2 November 2021, still nothing. In the end i asked another company to come down and fix it and despite a 2 week waiting period it got done with no issues. "Ban Hong Aluminium and Construction Pte Ltd" should be struck off the list of approved HDB contractors if they wish to cherry pick jobs. TLDR: If you need urgent repairs that may impede the safety of your household or neighbors, look elsewhere - this company will likely leave you hanging and if any accidents happen in the meantime you will be the one going to court to answer for it.

Was recommended by HDB to install service yard window for my BTO unit at Punggol. The supervisor is meticulous and careful with the work to prevent damage to our tiles and even taught us the after care on how to maintain our window. ?
