crazy school , extra lessons almost everyday. Tie must be worn 24/7 even if the weather is super hot , they do not allow students to take out , inconsiderate to student's welfare. Many bees everywhere. Super high expectations to students. Highly not recommended , do not come here!

All white uniform in this school, similar to Raffles Institute. It's an old school but doesn't feel very old to me. They still had a new sports hall, but I have already graduated. Didn't get a chance to see the inside. I miss this place as it brings back lots of fun memories.

I went to this school to buy my uniform bcuz I'm enrolling in this school in 2021. The students are very kind and patient. The guards in the guardhouse kinda rude though. Never gave the green coloured sticker, so the man at the entrance of the school had to give me.

Beatty Secondary School was established in 1953 and named after David Beatty, 1st Earl Beatty, former Admiral of the Fleet of the United Kingdom. The school colours, crest, and motto, Non Vi Sed Arte, or "Not with force but with skill", are taken from Beatty's coat of arms. The graduated cohort of 2008 presented the school with the best overall results in the GCE 'O' Level examinations throughout the school's history. In 1982, the school moved to this current auspicious location in Toa Payoh North. The new building was constructed at a cost of S$7.5 million, and featured administrative, science and workshop blocks as well as 28 classrooms. Three decades later, much due to a lack of Secondary One students, Beatty Secondary School had been selected to merge with Balestier Hill Secondary School. This process was made in ease with the integration of Beatty's students and of the hapless Balestier Hill's students nearing the end of 2016. In 2019, Beatty Secondary School is designated by the Education Ministry for students with hearing loss. A new Hearing Loss Resource Room called D'Connect has been set up to cater to their learning needs. President Halimah Yacob officiated at the opening of the room and noted that it was important to help students with special needs integrate into the mainstream schools.
