Beaulieu House (Sembawang Seafood Paradise) - 117 Beaulieu Road

Beautiful rustic colonial house at the end of Sembawang Park and unfortunately it seems like it is not open for business. Was there on Sunday at the park for a walk but found this restaurant closed.

Yummy food and great service! Love their house specialty tofu (it's green in colour and so unique) that's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The salted egg yolk prawns and pumpkins was good too. Recommended! Above review was in Aug 2018. Back here in Jul 2022 after 4 years. Food is still good, but portion is quite small for the price paid. What's good was all food was served piping hot (means they're fresh and cooked on the spot). The house specialty tofu was not crispy this time round. The salted egg prawns was still yummy but cost $28 for 6-7 pcs of prawns. Everything had only small portion and cost around $14 per item (fried baby squid, prawn roll (6 pcs), one plate of crispy fish skin, marmite chicken, claypot eggplant). Total damage was $158 for 7 pax (of really small eaters).

Service crew were friendly in a soothing & cozy family restaurant I been as many times & had recommended to my friends & relatives My friend really enjoyed simple dishes Marmite Chicken Marinated Pork Rib Bitter Gourd Fry Egg Crab Meat Fried Rice House Made Bean Curd We miss the Sirloin Beef Fried Rice Hopefully it will return to the menu After dinner he told us will return for dessert on next visit , he was amazed by Butterfly Pea Drinks as it colour changes

Nice and peaceful place for a meal in a historic building with views of Beaulieu shoal and set in a nice park. Food surprisingly good. Assam red grouper very good and fried chive stems with bean sprouts with garlic very good also. Would come back for a relaxing Sunday meal.

Not a bad idea to have cozy lunch here. The decoration and ambiance always let you have kind of feeling back to 80’s 90’s . of course food wise also not bad.

Nice place by the sea for a sunny Sunday lunch! Food was served promptly and tasted good. My only feedback for improvement is the curry fish head. While the fish was nice and fresh. I felt allowing it to stew little while in the curry would have made a big difference. It seemed to be steamed with curry sauce cooked and poured over it. The fried seafood hor fun had good wok hei!

Good restaurant in sembawang park. The food is good and they heeded my special requests. The staff was very friendly and they helped when a fork fell onto the floor. The conditions are excellent as well, and they added fans on the roof and is very convenient to go to from the beach. Despite being a little expensive, the food was good. The payment process was fast and easy too.

Beaulieu means “beautiful place” in French and this house is also situated in a scenic location. The neoclassical architecture makes one want to look back at its history - from holiday residence of its Jewish owner, to being the house of Superintendent Civil Engineer before the war and Home to Chief of Staff of British Far East Fleet. I love the Neoclassical ambiance, the simple decor and the home-style dishes. We enjoyed the dinner very much. We ordered Steamed Beancurd with Caipu, Salted Bean Sprout, Black Pepper Ribeye, BBQ Squid, Dong Po meat, Sweet and Sour Pink Dory, Yang Chow Fried Rice. Every dish is nice except the Dong Po meat. This is the worst Dong Po Meat I have ever tasted and you should avoid it. Instead of braising the pork together with the ingredients, the pork seems to be steamed separately from the ingredients with the gravy drizzle over the pork after that. The pork is therefore tasteless. Their sweet and sour fish is exceptional. I would go back again if Possible. $$
