We contacted Jacaranda services via Carousel for a 14ft vehicle to move our items and also our fish tank( on their profile they said they were "professional fish tank movers") at 9am from our old home to our new home Then at 10am, a 8ft beemover lorry came. When we asked the contact person. She said the 14ft lorry is on the way. As expected, they are unable to fit all our items. And scheduled a time to collect at 2.30pm.( this means that the 14ft lorry was never on the way afterall) We were here from 2.30pm and eventually waited up till almost 6pm when they arrived. In the process of the transport, only 3 men were sent. The lack of manpower was soo bad that they had to ask my husband's help to move the things. ( What is the point of paying them right?). Not only that, 11 fish died in the process of transport. The company said they will reimburse but the negative experience I had was the worst that I would caution anyone to engage them again. And we ended the transport at 11pm. My husband had to let them go as it was too late.. and yes, he had to set up his own fish tank in our new home. Update: the mover basically return the wrong fish after promising to return the fish they killed. They keep insisting it is the same species when we know our fish. There are different breeds and the ones that died are breeds that cost us more expensive than the ones they replaced with (ones u can buy from the neighborhood fish shop). We regret engaging their services.
