Near potong pasir mrt. From poiz centre. Further in is blk 147,then cross the rd. You reach potong pasir avenue 3. Blk 136 is here. You will see potong pasir community club , neigbourhood police post. Followed by rows of detailers/outlets for coffee shops, daily necessities/groceries shops. The environment here is very quiet, beautiful and spacious. There are amusement parks for exercise, children playing ground. Traffic is also very convenient. Good place for residential purpose and amusement.

The block is just a normal place but encourage illegal activities also. I don't favour the place except to buy food and go back to my home.

We purposely drive over here to buy the Tiong Bahru Chee kuey here. Highly recommended as her chye poa is really fantastic. We bought 8 pcs at $2.50. I never eat chee kuey but I did try the chye poa. Ow..yummy sedap...it is indeed very very good...never taste such tasty chye poa before. You guys must try it yourselves. A worthy trip here...yummy...yummy....

This is an outdated coffee shop with most stalls struggling except for this economic veg rice stall which provides beacon for the shop. Food is tasty and prices very reasonable. There is always a queue but it moves fast. Therefore queue long but waiting time short. Curry chicken gravy is very good. Fried sotong good. My favorite is minced pork. Run by 3 Malaysian siblings plus a relative.

Specially travel all the way to 136 Jin Biao coffeeshop to patronize this old school Muslim Food, M.Ellyshah Muslim Food. There was a short Q, heard that the nasi lemak are sold out! Left Mee goreng only. The lady infront of me ordered 4 packets and left almost none for me, you can imagine my almost disappoinment. The good news is, Makcik is making a new batch of Mee goreng. At the same time, makcik is also preparing new batch of nasi lemak, but that would take a longer duration for the nasi lemak to be cook in the rice cooker. There's limited items to add to the Mee goreng, fried eggs, Nuggets, fried chicken cutlets. I had chosen a simple fried egg and top it up with sambal. My wife is a fan of old school Mee goreng, she has been in search for it, but had not tasted the one which she like as a young adult. This stall Mee goreng is legit old school and my wife was nodding her head while eating! You can imagine the smile on her face. Personally, I enjoyed the sambal, it's rather spicy and goes really well with the Mee goreng! Had also ordered some unknown Kueh, and it's all very yummy. She charges $0.50 for each Kueh. Each portion of Mee goreng is $2.00 and fried egg $0.50. Food is very affordable here and most importantly it's old school Muslim Food! I think she might have nasi padang in the afternoon, will try it out next time. If you love Malay food, you gotta give this a try!

One of the very few places in Singapore you can get fish ball noodles with 3 large fishballs, a few slices of fish cakes, a leaf of cabbage and a large portion of mee pok or mee kia. I was thinking it may not be filling for me. It turned out I was quite full after finishing my lunch. All for just $2.50. Look out for the corner stall. They use yellow bowls. Definitely more value for money than the 2 coffeeshops nearer to Potong Pasir MRT.
