★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mosque and the HDB Office still there. Not much changes. Many shops to go round. NO food court there but a lot of good foods in the coffee shops. A lot of Halal foods there. Many coffee shops selling good Halal foods. Must tried. Many parking lots but usually full. The multi storey car park is a bit far but within walking distance to the area. Holiday and weekend is always crowded. Nice place to eat and shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not buy from the beansprouts, noodles and taukwa stall just outside Xing Xing Aquarium, #01-395.
Asked for 500g each of noodles and kway tiao. Gave me 2 pre-packed and i paid $2. Surprised that the Weight given was only 750g!!! Went back to question the helper, told me it's $2.20/per kg. The male helper put the 2 packets of noodles on the weighing scale and exchanged a pack of noodles. The total weight was 760g when i went back to check. Total cheats!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One can gets most daily necessities around this area near Blk 291 Yishun. Market, vegetables, fruits, household items, etc.. price still average only or affordable. Good food stalls also. Try it out yourself!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are wet market, groceries and food stalls here in this neighborhood. Although the owners have been here for a long time. They provided fresh pork, vegetables, chicken, seafood and many more ingredients for the residents staying around block 129. The price is of average and reasonable. There are many choices for your meals at a cheap price to fill up the tummy. The toilets at the coffeeshops are for emergency only
