★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Living in one of those early-days pioneer HDB blocks where there are ground floor units, one will have to put up with one of those irritating annoyances like when a ground floor tenant or owner decide to place his arm chair at the narrow 5 foot pedestrian walkway and literally make the space his extended home. Naturally you have to make a detour and walk around him to avoid nudging into the neighbour or against his chair. It is best to avoid the passageway altogether in order not to get into an argument or possible fist fight. Oh well, this is a real life day to day scenario if you are living in an old neighbourhood such as this in Commonwealth Drive.
