Bought a few packets of these organic wild rice. But it’s really expensive and to consume it regularly, we might need very deep pockets to do so. Unlike the organic black rice in the mass market, this wild version is long-grained and while it is being cooked in the rice-cooker, it has a very strong aroma of sesame oil. Chewy taste. A packet of this would only yield 4 servings for myself and my hubby. Still recommended for those who can afford to pay for it! Updates as of 21 September 2021: We went back for the same brand of organic wild rice as we are very health conscious and regular eaters of coloured rice and grains. It’s definitely a luxury to incorporate such a product in our diet but we are glad to have known Bloom Concept because they have been very helpful and prompt in packing products for collection at their warehouse within a short notice - and we deeply appreciated their efforts. As such, we will be back for other products probably within the next 2 weeks. This current batch of wild rice has a very strong aromatic flavour that is akin to premium grade of Pu’er tea, it’s definitely a very good buy! I have added in other types of grains sometimes to get a nutty taste for dinner. I am hopeful in getting my hubby’s favourite moscato from Bloom Concept during our next purchase!
