This childcare give a really exceptional care to kids! The teachers are great and really care about each individual child differently!

The place is tranquil as it is set in greenery. The outdoor play area is big and we were informed that the school is focused on the arts. But sadly, Juliet (the founder) was insecure about her methodology and spent most of the time during our tour defending it - despite the fact that we agreed with her, to her oblivion. She also alluded that only wealthy parents sent their kids there -it was an unfortunate label. In the end, we decided not to send our child there for fear of having to deal with Juliet again. Incidentally, we found out later that a friend who visited the place shared the same sentiments. What a great pity!

Was given a tour by principal Kitty Mori and was very impressed by her explanation on their methodology, especially the strong emphasis on art. Kitty was extremely warm and genuine, we felt a sense of care in the place that was not typical - not just a shell of facilities like some other places but a genuine love for developing children into unique individuals.

We are a German Expat family and our kids are at The Children's Place since more than three years now. When we came to Singapore, we had a look at 18 other childcares but considered none of them being appropriate. Most of them simply because of their location on an extremely busy road. We are absolutely impressed by the lovely teachers, their passion and enthusiasm. The atmosphere is kind and welcoming. Equally important to us is the location of TCP: a very quiet, green area, surrounded by old trees and nature. Not at a four- or six-lane highway intersection with enormous car traffic and its exhaust gases. The outdoor playground is well shaded and the kids have time and room to unwind there in natural air and daylight. Both English and Mandarin is given the same attention, our kids experience both as their native languages now. Above all, Mrs. Juliet McCully and Ms. Ling, who are always supporting us with her experience and advise. In fact, we felt like being part of a family. We love The Children’s Place and through all the years, we have never heard the other parents saying something different.

We love the staff and their teaching philosophy. They believe each child develops at their own pace and they should enjoy being children. All Singapore daycare facilities have English and Chinese teachers plus associated classes, but what makes this place special is the people. All teachers, principal, and manager truly care for the children, you can see it in the children's genuine smiles when you visit the school. The children also come from diverse backgrounds and interact positively with one another. The facility is old due to government restrictions on building renovations, but the large backyard allows children to safely play outside and with nature, which is hard to find in central Singapore. This place is truly a hidden gem amongst the many cookie cutter daycares/preschools in Singapore.
