Why BlueSG carsharing and Singapore in general (Budget, Avis, etc) make it so difficult for foreigners and flight commuters to get by in Singapore is something that baffles me. I couldnt get a car as a tourist. And the major car rental companies such as Avis and budget make it practically impossible to rent a car cuz if you arrive after 11 p.m. it's a big hassle you have to pay a ridiculous surcharge and so on. And when I called several times from Europe to try to arrange this is like they're not interested. They don't want to step out of the their comfort zone to help you. Or simply to just allow a tourist to get by in the city on a stopover. It seems to me that service business infrastructure in Singapore fails to live up to its reputation and what it represents on a worldwide scale, having the name of a big, busy, thriving business hub in the heart of Asia. And yet you can't even use the car sharing services in this city as a tourist. And the major car rentals that just make it very difficult for you. It's a pity with the amazing food courts they have and all the other good stuff like great transport system clean City beautiful design beautiful Parks beautiful buildings Multicultural multi-ethnic.. but certain things just make me want to ditch SG and choose a different stopover spot when i'm traveling long haul.

Amazingly responsive customer service. I've been with Blue for a while, but recently left an item with great sentimental value to me in one of the cars. Blue couldn't guarantee it would be returned, but a few weeks later, they found it and made it a point to contact me. It's things like this which really win over customer loyalty!
