Bollore at Alps taking part time student for Pick & Pack. The staff in charge should know the capability of the part time student. They cannot be treat like a prisoner. There is two building for this part timer to work pick up a box weight about 25 kg and per pallet have 6 or 8 boxes. For 3 hour stationery standing to pick up that box and move to their left or right to put the box for another person to unpack. Senior staff or in charges have no feeling toward this youngster whom are learning to earn their pocket money and also learn experience on warehouse job. But they are very disappointed as the treatment and guidance given by the in charge lady or senior is very rude and treat them like a prisoner. Tea break of 15 minutes can be shorter example they suppose to go break between 3-3.15, but if they stop at 3.05 for break, they still have to start back by 3.15pm. I just wonder what kind of work place is this and understand that the turn out is very high. I really appreciate if the HR or the high ranking personnel of Bollore go and check what kind of life the part timer is having. It also abuse part timer with big build to do the carrying of 25kg of boxes through out the day just because of the size he had. That is very prejudice. As a good company and giving opportunity to youngster to earn their pocket money during their school holiday, it also be nice if the company take care of their well being during working. 1. They should be given a long sleeve t/shirt if the involve in the opening the boxes using pen knife and protect them from scratched. 2. Personnel in charge of the part timer have some taught and feeling on them. Don't just because they had bad experience from previous part timer, she label all of them the same. 3. In non-air con places, water is very much in need for health concern. Be sure they are well time for drink at same time to gave them more strength to work. 4. Lastly do not abuse and do not take the bad experience from previous part timer to be label to the new batch of part timer. Hope the company can see what is suppose to be done and do not miss use on the part timer as they are new to learn about working life.
