A watch master with old soldier value....

My first single star review. Avoid this place for Brequet owners. (Maybe Rolex stainless steel owners can still go, but go at your own risk!) Wasted S$1,100 to service my Brequet automatic watch for nothing! Sent my watch for servicing prior to the Covid. When I got back the watch, problems started to surface, I realised that - my watch timing became inaccurate - my watch would just stop despite me wearing it (never happened to any of my automatic watch) When I feedback to the staff, the reply was prompt, but no follow-up. As if, it was a standard reply to customers with problems. Though the staff mentioned that I could go back because it was under warranty, think no one will dare to go back anymore. Seriously, such a simple routine servicing (not repair) and this issue could have been easily picked up during checks before passing it back to the client. Only showed the level of competency Eric have for Brequet watches. Anyway, today got back my watch from Brequet authorised service centre at Keppel Bay Tower. Though the price was S$2918.90, it was well-spent. Lastly, my friend (a watch expert) was laughing at me for going to Bonfield. He said why would a good watch service centre be a small shop in a HDB area. Come to think of it, true......

He is one of the rare true blue watch master in Singapore, if not in Asia. Very passionate about time pieces and his craft is at its best and TOP of the pinnacle. Some may say it is pricey but not so depending on the sentimental value attached to the watch you would want Eric to service or polish or repair or others. One word he is simply great! His staff Elaine is also friendly and dedicated to her craft n work too!

Eric is the watch magician, any watches any help, he can get it solved for you. One of the most knowleageable and qualified watch expert in Singapore. He managed to save my Audemars Piguet 6005SA when AP themselves says can't be repaired. Did a couple of polishing, of course all very well done. Wide range of watches for sale too.

RUDE & ARROGANT! Went there to sell my old watch. Stepped into the shop and was greeted “YES” by a lady in a serious tone. Upon enquiry, got an insulting reply “OF COURSE, WE BUY, WE BUY AND SELL WATCHES”. When placed the watch on the tray for evaluation, was questioned loudly “WHERE IS THE BOX, USER MANUAL? OR, YOU HAVE NOTHING?” Followed by “HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO SELL?”. When I asked how much it is worth. “YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO SELL?” “YOU SHOULD FIND OUT THE PRICE FROM THE INTERNET.” I was irked by her rude and arrogant attitude. Simply put it “I WOULD RATHER THROW AWAY THE WATCH, THEN TO SELL IT TO HER”. Will never step into this shop again. NOT RECOMMENDED.

My fathers’ 1979 Seiko needed a new glass. Neither Seiko nor other dealers wanted to touch it due to its age. The watch was not valuable, but it has sentimental value so I was hoping to find a solution. Eric understood the value the watch had to me and I felt he really wanted to help. He ended up fitting a custom glass and it now looks great. To top it off he even had a strap in his collection that matched what originally came with the watch. Really happy with Eric’s help and would look for him again in the future.

Had my watch assessed by watch master Eric, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Removed links from my ceramic J12 as well. Highly recommend their service.
