Not bad. Called to ordered beforehand, and the ang ku kuehs are all freshly made. Still can feel the heat even when they are placed in the box. Very flavorful although the skin is a bit thick. better to eat it on the day itself. Or else will not be as delicious.

Tried to buy their kueh after the founder went to TV interview. Personally, the kue not really up to my expectations. Ondeh ondeh is thick. Good that the gula Malacca is sweet enough and hence still can taste. Ang Gu kueh I chosen the one with coconut filing. The coconut is disappointing as they fried until very small. If they cook it before fried it would better retain the taste. Pulut inti is disappointing as other than the coconut as described above, the glutinous rice wasn't been wash clean enough and hence have some smell. If you really craving for kueh, you may go for it. Else, there are some other place that selling nicer one, including at Bedok South Market.

Kuehs are not to my family liking. Not sure if it's a personal taste thing or a different style of kuehs. We bought Odneh Odneh, 9 layered kueh (九层糕) and peanut filling ang ku kuehs (纒龟果).

Someone recommended that we try their kueh kueh, so we made a trek there. To be honest, their kueh are pretty average, but perhaps the popularity is also due to their HDB price range. The ubi kayu and kueh koh sui were not bad, but the small onde onde were quite hard. They also have giant ping pong sized versions. The ang ku kueh was also average.

A quaint little shop set up in the heart of Bedok North, selling cakes and pastries of the beloved past. Affordable kuihs and friendly staff at your service. Ang Ku Kuehs @$1, other Kuihs @80cent

A gem shinning within an ageing public housing area. Snacks created here, all kinds, are yummy and delicious.

A very old school shop hidden in Bedok, not easy to get to and the kitchen is almost right behind the displayed kuehs you can actually see the folks there making it in action. I decided to visit because I heard of the Ambong and the Ondeh Ondeh, and there were so many things I had to buy coming all the way here. Was surprised the Ondehs had 2 sizes, the smaller ones packed in a box only had the gula melaka sugar inside while the bigger one had the coconut inside. Ang ku kueh wasn't really my favourite so I didn't buy them. I was impressed with the Ondehs because they tasted so soft and so freshly made. It's nice and not so sweet, the coconut shavings were a little salted so it gave a great combi which was special you could taste both sweet and salty together. The Ambong was also a surprise because it wasn't sweet and you get a durian like aftertaste after like the 3rd chew. Also tasted very freshly made. The Dardar was good also because the skin was not thick and there was loads of coconut in it, pretty power packed in 1 bite. Salat was good too, the glutinous rice was soft and chewy as well. In general the pastries here are pretty cheap and nothing much to fault about. Though far for me but would definitely make another visit again next time.

Peanut ang ku kueh skin was thin and come with big chunk of peanut paste. The peanut was a little bitter though. The tapioca cake was ok but could be a little sweeter. Price reasonable.
