β β β β β Love their braised pork rice!!! Was a little shocked as I do not see it on their store front, but I realised that the photo of it is on the glass ? Would cry if they took it out of the menu.
Love the fatty meat and the sour veggie complement it really well. Honestly I couldn't find this anywhere else especially at this price point, $3.50 is a steal..
Ps, always reffered to them as tamp hub porridge, now I know their brand ?

β β β β β I rarely write reviews, but I have to for this hawker stall. I've been patronizing them for almost 2 years now and I honestly love their porridge. Silky smooth texture, fresh ingredients and their crispy youtiao.... It's addictive.
Despite rising cost everywhere, they did not increase their price. A solid bowl of porridge for just $2.80?? Several options as well, where to find???
I do agree with several reviews that their portion size are a little smaller now, but it's nothing drastic as it's still filling to me. Let's not be selfish, i mean.. They gotta survive too right..
Nevertheless, great food, friendly owner, relatively fast serice despite the queue. Thumbs up ??

β β β β β PSA: They've stopped serving braised pork and rice, now it's only porridge per the name.
Porridge is fantastic though, smooth and tasty. Highly recommended if you're in Tampines. I would say it even beats some more famous competitors.
Good food in the Tampines hub market is very hit and miss, perhaps because they require them to have one cheap dish on the menu. This is excellent regardless of price.

β β β β β Hawker porridge located in tampines hub. Clean and airy ambience due to the large installed fans above head. Although no aircon but it really doesn't seem humid at all when having your meals over here, especially in such humid condition in singapore!
To be honest, I have been craving for porridge for weeks but never really had chance to go for it. Just yesterday night I even drove all the way to bedok 85 but chai chee porridge was closed. Thankfully to my fiancΓ©e whose fb popped up this store.
We decided to try this out tonight. She ordered the traditional signature meatball while i took my usual pork porridge. Both added egg and we stirred it well. The porridge was damn shiok and really felt whatever it takes to enjoy a warm well contented porridge in Singapore style!

β β β β β Had the seafood porridge w additional egg @$6.50. Ingredients were fresh, porridge is tasty, but way too watery for my liking. Feels like drinking soup instead. Still, a great choice for bf if you are eating at tamp hub.
