Roasted chicken meat is super hard like as though they kept overnight.

We packed home char siew and roast pork rice the second time. Must say the 烧腊is really nice. Char siew had a little fat and the roast pork has crispy skin. Thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most underrated hawker Char Siew in Singapore. No one ever mentions it, never had to queue and not a single blogger or food reviewer has ever mentioned it. But it’s thick, dark fatty meat Char Siew with burnt ends, like what you get in Kuala Lumpur, is heavenly delicious.
You will have to request the stall owner for the Fatty Meat parts of the Char Siew, and to use Chicken Rice instead of White Rice as typically most Singaporeans like their Char Siew to be lean meat. Then ask for more of the thick gravy.
From $3.00 per plate, this is real value for money. Stall recently accepts QR Code Pay and uncle is truly service oriented.
