I had a very good experience with the team on the room reno. The team was responsive to my queries and requests. The quality of work was great and everything was completed on time. The final room design is clean yet cozy.

When we met Sean for the very first meeting, we immediately felt comfortable with what he could offer us. He immediately knew what we were going for and did not pressure us into making choices that we didnt want to. Because of this level of comfort and trust that we felt with him, we didnt take long to confirm our project with his team. The whole process was laid out clearly from the start. At the same time, picture and video updates on the reno progress were regular and frequent which we really liked and appreciated alot. Safe to say, we knew what was happening every step of the way. We're first time home owners and we're very happy that we did not have to worry much aboutthe whole reno process. Sean and his team took care of EVERYTHING and more. They provided recommendations in every matter and clear directions in the project and gave us every opportunity possible to make a choice/decision for our house. And that meant alot to us. There were also some small hiccups along the way but Sean and his team managed them all well, and we're pleased. Things were rectified fast and good. We only did a basic renovation for our house for now but safe to say, we'll be coming back again to Sean and his team for our future house projects.

ByDesign is a great ID with sincere hearts. We did a full house reno and have move in about 14 months. It was not long after moving in that We encounter some floring vinyl issue in the living room and have highlighted to their attention. They quickly arrange the subcon to rectify it. After rectification it does happen again and after much consideration they decided to revamp and redo everything. Not many ID will go to this end but ByDesign have showed that they are honest and thrustworthy. There’s no worry if ByDesign is your preferred ID as their after sales service is one of the best! First met Sean from ByDesign and they stood out among the rest. While the others offered to do a Zoom call during covid times, he offered to do a house visit and listened to our requirements intently before providing a quote. We had a tight deadline of 1.5 months and the team was ever ready to help out. While there were hiccups along the way, the project was managed well and the team continuosly took our feedback for improvement positively. In fact, I would say that we were quite fussy as a customer but the team never let us feel that way ? Overall, I'm very pleased with the renovation. Now, our home has a personality touch to it, with functional and practical storage solutions that fits our living lifestyle. Workmanship for most works are superb and their post-reno service follow up is very commendable. Highly recommend Sean for anyone who is seeking a reliable ID.

Kudos to Sean Koh & Team for transforming my 4-room hdb flat to a warm and inviting home. Despite the manpower challenges brought on by Covid, he managed to organise his team of painters, plumbers, electrician and carpenters to deliver the project in a timely manner. What I like mostly is he regularly updates me on the progress and works being done on my house and he keeps to his promise. Also no Reno works are totally smooth sailing but his service recovery efforts are superb! The issues I had were resolved in a fast manner by Sean and he personally ensured all my issues were resolved to my expectations before asking for the final payment. ByDesign is also very transparent on the costs involved for add on works and Sean even advises me on where money can be saved for works that might not add value to my house which I appreciated. I love the carpentry work done on my wardrobes and the wooden trellis beams in the living room is a gem. Whereas a few other ID firms quoted me a higher price, ByDesign managed to keep the costs reasonable but still delivered what I envisioned. A very happy and satisfied customer ??

New home means need to find a reno company. Stucked between getting an ID or a contractor. We had a very bad experience with our previous ID company. like really traumatic very bad till today cannot forget. So this time round, I prayed hard we get a really really really good one. We went looking around for quotations. Meeting about close to 10 different IDs and contractor. But still, no luck. I was scrolling through instagram and I saw By Design Works ad. I look through. Not so convinced. Looked through the reviews and this name frequently popped out. S-E-A-N. We set an appointment with him and they say, the rest is history. We were very impressed with his ideas. He was the only one who came up with a different layout for our home. He was not pushy, very patient in waiting for us to get back to him. He listened, paid attention and remembered what our home needs are. Most IDs we went earlier, we had to keep repeating what we wanted. aiyooo....Anyway, Once we signed the deal, the work started and it was proper. We got updates each time. Like legit updates on what was currently happening and what was going to happen next. Simply said, we did not have to come into the house regularly to check on this and that. He reassured us that everything was following through the timeline well and yes it did. After the handover, it didn't end there. Our house had some minor issues here and there and guess what? it was all rectified by Sean and his team. No questions asked. BUT, he will only asked this, 'all done sistur? you happy? husband happy? both of u happy=Sean happy.' We are very truly grateful that we met Sean from By Design Works. This is not a paid review but an review honest from the bottom of our hearts. From the first initially meeting till the end of our reno, everything was through google meet and whatsapp which we really appreciated as our schedules were quite tight. Samples were sent to our doors, to our convenience. There was no need for us to trouble ourselves to go down to their office to pick and choose laminates, etc.. only time we had to go out was to pick our tiles. Sean and Juli took note of details of our current furnitures, appliances etc. they gave so much suggestions and ideas that without them, I don’t think we could have achieved our dream home. Juli did multiple rounds of 3D, not even calculative about it. Sean was always keeping us updated with the house progress. There were few hiccups here and there but Sean was quick to rectify it. He had no qualms sending over his vendors/ contractors to do the minor touchups that we require. Of course at the end, we exceeded our budget but because ours was an old flat, it was kind of expected. Sean was quite transparent with the costings, and even helped us negotiate things to reduce costs. So glad we took the leap to engage them. The end result was better than the 3D which we didn’t expect. So proud to be recommending them to friends and families. A huge thank you to Sean and Juli for their great service and hardwork.
