β β β β β Some background, I'm pursuing dancing for the first time and it has been about 3 months now. The experience with Caliente has been quite thrilling especially after observing the progress every week while making new friends. The environment is fun and is designed quite accurately to suit experienced dancers as well as beginners.
The primary division is Solo and Partner dancing for Salsa, Bachata and more. Each split into levels - Beginner(1), Improver(2), Intermediate(3 - this is where I am at the moment) and more. My choice was to pursue Solo for getting the footwork right and Partner since these are forms of Latin Partner Dance.
I've learnt one step at a time, primarily from Janey and Rossana; and I want to take this moment to appreciate their skill and passion. I'd recommend taking a trial class and knowing for yourself.

β β β β β I first heard Caliente from an Ad. A Salsa or Bachata Trial Class cost only S$4.90. I've been wanting to learn how to dance Latin, plus the location of the Studio is very accessible, so I grab the offer, and went for a class.
The trial class was conducted by Janey. She was very patience amidst the number of attendees that day. She also delivered her instructions clearly, and the steps are easy to follow even for beginners like me. She is attentive to her students. Even checks individual's footwork. Other Dance Instructors are patience as well.
Overall, if you don't have any background in dancing, Caliente is the best studio for you. Been dancing in Caliente for 6-months now and manage to entice 5 friends over to join with me. A great activity to catch up with friends. Big Thumbs Up!
