This man sold us a Samsung phone he said was a s20 and charged us for one but we got a phone that was Samsung galaxy a20s which is at least £300 pound cheaper, hope he feels pleased with his self, we will be back out there when all this over to sort this out, so do not trust him

We have been scammed by Camera. Comp Specialist Pte Ltd at 220 Orchard Road Singapore. We purchased a panasonic Lumix DMC FZ60 from camera.comp specialist Pte Ltd . It's actual price was about $500 and he sold us for $800. He also tried to sell us accessories for $260 and sold us for $80 forcibly. Surely some action has to be taken. Tourists are made easy prey by such shopkeepers. We customers are really annoyed. We came to singapore for purchasing but it will not happen in future after our this experience.

Was completely ripped off, they prey on tourist's. Don't ever go there. They pulled me in off the street for there great Singapore sale. I was looking at a sony camera originally which should only be worth about 300 Australian. I did mention that I wanted an Ipad as well, then he said he could do me a deal and get an Ipad mini 64gb for 300 bucks if I bought the camera but he said he couldn't get the ipad in till the next day. After being in the store for over an hour he convinced us that he was genuine so I paid for the camera which he charged me 540 bucks for because I was going to get the ipad the next day for 260 which would of meant I got a camera and an Ipad 64gb for 800 bucks which was really good. yeah to good to be true, Stupid me didn't realise I was being scammed. So I got a receipt for the camera and then left. I went back the next day and he completely went back on everything he said. I asked him where the Ipad was and he said he couldn't get it in, after going back and forth with him he then turned around and said I never said I could get it in. But that was the only reason I bought the camera in the first place. All he wanted from the start was to get me to pay extra money for a camera that was only worth 300 bucks. Please I urge everyone please don't buy anything from Camera comp specialist on orchard Rd Singapore. They are slime balls all of them and they are doing this to innocent people and need to be stopped.

Whatever you do, do not step one foot into this store! .. The owner and his cronies have a well oiled routine to rip tourists off even plying customers with beer in hopes to get drunk 'victims' making poor choices! They are smooth talkers and try every trick in the book to keep you in the store when you try to walk out. The goods are sold at inflated prices and the excuse when querying this is 'the exchange rate' .. These goods are actually really old stock that has been superseded many times over with new technology. Don't think asking the right questions will help you either as he is a compulsive liar. I went back & confronted him once when I realised I had been shafted and was greeted with a very different version of the smooth talking salesman I had encountered earlier! After a heated debate and getting nowhere, I returned with the Singapore Police to which he admitted he had lied about what the products actually were. Unfortunately that still did not get the return of my money! I now know many unhappy customers have tried to get their money back from this swindler but unfortunately he knows how to worm his way out of any situation as he has been confronted many a time and has his scam perfected! I was ripped off a very large amount of money for items that are not even compatible with my model of camera! As a result, I feel I will never return to the lovely Singapore ever again! STAY AWAY from this shop. Best getting your camera goodies from the Funan centre where the guys were very helpful explaining to me with disbelieve what I had actually purchased!

Buyer beware when shopping at Camera. Comp Specialist Pte Ltd at 220 Orchard Road Singapore. Pulled the classic bait and switch on me - I went in after a particular camera lens and was upsold to a "better" lens which turned out to be far inferior and at a highly inflated price. They also lied about Steinzeiser filters which they claimed were made in Germany. They are in fact inferior filters made in Malaysia and sold at a grossly inflated price. I got scammed - make sure you stay away so you aren't scammed as well.

NEVER GO THERE! THIEVES! I went there to buy a Canon lens for my camera on December 17 2015. They convinced me to buy a Sigma lens what I did. (same price than the Canon but the Sigma was supposed to have better options, being 500mm as the Canon was only 400 mm). Than they told me that for Christmas, they were doing a special promotion on 70% reduction on any other article and convinced me to buy a LED independent light which I did. I spent 260 SGD for this instead of more than 800 SGD. They told me I could easily sell it to someone in Switzerland. Unfortunately, I realized the day after that this LED light was sold for 50 SGD only everywhere so they clearly abused! THEY ARE THIEVES !!! And I have been stupid enough to trust them as they seemed very professional. I was not expecting this happening in Singapore where all is sup positively so safe!

Don't step over the door of this shop on Orchard Road. Made the mistake of assuming they must be okay as they had a presence on Orchard Road beside reputable shops. I was looking for a Hoya polarising filter and was immediately offered a Steinheiser filter which is supposedly German make which on subsequent checking discovered it was inferior quality made in Malaysia. Also bought a camera strap which turned out to be really poor quality. They tried to tell me that my genuine Canon battery was inferior quality and they could sell me a battery with double the capacity. Thank goodness I refused this. Everything I bought is now in the bin and put down to my own stupidity for being conned by these cowboys.
