Easy registration ,verification through video call and quick activation. Clean and nice cars in good condition. Customer service responds quickly. Rates are quite reasonable. No mileage charge, you need to return cars with fuel level above 1/4. I definitely recommend Carlite.

Car Sharing Platform with the best customer experience. Within walking distance of 3 to 5mins From LRT/MRT Station or a quick walk from any transport hub. Easy unlocking process all by just a smartphone. Cars are of great conditions. Customer Service hotline is just within reach and the team will assist you without fail. Overall a 5 star experience. RECOMMENDED it's tier 5 cars for a more premium experience.

Had an extremely awesome experience being a first time user trying out car sharing. I was warned against certain car sharing companies due to the cars' cleanliness, but the car from Car Lite which I drove tonight was really clean and new! Customer service is AWESOME. Fast registration within the hour with whatsapp video call to verify identity (unlike other car sharing companies where u might have to wait for days before approval). They pick up the phone within seconds and are very polite and helpful. Affordable and competitive fees with promo. Definitely recommend.

Easy collection and return process with affordable pricing. Even the consideration of early collection and extension has been seamlessly incorporated into their website (without any app to install). Best part is no paper forms to fill up and zero administrative nonsense. I wish all car rental companies all over the world can learn from them.

By far the stupidiest car rental, was given a car with the boot unable to close and expect me to drive with boot open. retarded, will not recommend Edit, was contacted by Alvin 1 month after the incident. Was very well mannered and apologised for the inconvenience causes. He also mentioned car was fixed after the incident. Thanks Alvin.

For context's sake, my partner and I initially rented a Mazda 2 from CarLite for usage during our 3D2N staycation. On the day and time of car collection, we headed to Toa Payoh to collect it as directed by booking instructions. However, the car key was missing from the glove box. After contacting customer service, the way ahead was to receive a refund back to the CarLite account wallet, then make another car booking ourselves. There was no other car available at the Toa Payoh location; thus we needed to take a GrabRide to Serangoon to book and collect another car (Mitsubishi Lancer). The time wasted and money spent on Grab travel was really annoying but what was more annoying was finding out that we had to top-up $20+ for the new car, but the next possible top-up option was restricted to $50. This also highlights the problem with CarLite's payment gatekeeping. In order to book a car, you have to top-up money into your eWallet, which are limited to $20, $50, $100, and $200. Custom amounts are only permitted for top-ups over $200. But each time you top-up (unless it's over $299), an additional payment gateway fee is imposed ($10-$99 is $1, $100-$199 is $2, $200-$299 is $3). Therefore, if you want to just top-up $170 for the stipulated car rental price, you'd need to top-up $100, $50, then $20. The total gateway fee you pay for $170 is actually $4. Additionally, user experience while booking the car was not very optimal. If you click back accidentally, it wipes out your previous search settings. Also, the site does not show the add-ons cost and the car cost on the same page. To see the add-ons cost, you'd have to top-up money for the car first. Thus, if you wanted to get the add-ons (CDW, PAI, and/or additional driver), you'd have to get the cost from the T&C and do your own calculation to see how much you'd have to top-up into your wallet in order to minimize the additional payment gateway fee. The business model locks you into renting from them repeatedly, making this a poor choice for one-time rental users. Rentees should also expect to bear the repercussions of previous rentees' misplacement of car key and any failure on CarLite's part to ensure that their cars are ready for rental usage before listing them. UPDATE ‐--------------- Carlite staff contacted us shortly after the posting of this review, and made a strong and sincere effort to understand our predicament and work things out from there. We were eventually charged with the pricing of the original car booked instead of the Lancer's price, and my partner was reimbursed the Grab fee incurred. Hopefully, further resolutions will be carried out regarding the payment gateway (which is a vendor-side restriction/issue according to Carlite).

Awesome service. By far one of the best car sharing platform i have tried. Very competitive pricing. Wide range of cars to suit your budget. Well maintained and fantastic cars. Idiot proof user experience. Really love the extend function. Definitely my go to for future rentals.
