When I travelled to Singapore 3 years ago, I happened to found Carl Oak I was surprised by the unique, colorful and various design, and I was impressed by the friendly staffs. It seemed to show everything about the bespoke shoes. Its shoes are so comfortable that I always want to wear them. Now I already have 3 pairs of Carl Oak Custom shoes, but I'd like to visit again and get another pair of shoes to fit in. All the best, Carl Oak!!

I got a pair of custom made Double Monkstrap shoes. Fits great on the first wear, its very comfortable considering it's a new pair. Its been more than 2 months already and after breaking in, it is even more comfortable. The shoes look great as well. The service from the ordering process right up to the collection was very good. For less than $400 for a pair of custom shoes, i would say it is great value. Would definitely recommend!

My bespoke shoes were slightly on delivery, but they have been fantastic. The breaking-in period was only a day or two, and the shoes immediately felt soft and comfortable. After several months the callouses on my feet have all gone because the fit is so good, and I have no soreness from long walks. The excellent shoes have changed my attitude towards walking, and now I can't seem to walk enough. Also, the shoes wear much better than other shoes, in part because of the quality of the leather. With time they end up developing some creases in the leather as expected, but without cracking. Another feature that contributes to the longevity is the metal tip that Carl & OAK Custom Made Shoes has placed on the sole by the toe, which helps avoid damaging the tip of the sole. Even the shoe polish that has been provided with the shoes is much better than ordinary polish, and the shoes acquire a very nice shine quite easily. The Carl OAK bespoke shoes have another nice feature-- the sole of a normal shoe has a rather wide ridge that receives the stitching, which juts out horizontally beyond the uppers in order to facilitate restitching by machines. In contrast, on my bespoke shoes the ridge is so narrow that the uppers largely conceal it, because the replacement of the sole will involve hand-stitching in any event, so access to the machine is not necessary. Many people have noticed that the largely concealed thin ridge gives the shoe a very elegant appearance.

Placed another order from Carl Oak Custom Shoes and the shoes came in immaculate condition , great craftsmanship and exactly as wanted. I will not go further as I believe that actions speak louder than words - I am on my second pair already - so that is a good indicator that they are great. Placed an order for a pair of bespoke shoes from Carl, assisted me in the ordering process as I am stationed out of the Singapore . After receiving the shoes in a timely manner, the workmanship is impeccable and the quality of leather, right up to the customer service offered as well as the shoe fit is great. The only negative thing I have to say - is that the shoes are so perfectly and beautifully made - that don't feel like putting them on but just putting them in my display case :) Will definitely be placing more orders from them as long as the wallet allows me too.

Shoes came nicely crafted , are of good quality. They fit very well and are comfortable just through using the sizing guide! But most importantly, customer service is excellent, reassuring me that will fit like a glove , which it did! They bring over sample sizes for me to try it on to measure more accurately . Despite being a skeptic of online shoe shopping, I must say Im impressed. Will be recommending this to friends and family who need formal shoes.

DON’T BE CHEATED 1. Entire experience and cost (SGD450) not worth at 2. Was asked to meet at a bench at a factory area 3. Then asked to step on an A4 paper for shape of feet to be drawn 4. On the day of collection, shoe was just left in a poor quality bag without shoe tree, shoe horn and no box 5. Quality of leather really bad - even the one I ordered from Arden Teal at SGD135 is so worth it with delivery to home
