Usually when the service is bad, I brush it off and tend not to post any form of reviews or so. This time, what happened @ Carstorm was totally unacceptable and disappointing. Given that their rating is 4+ on Google & voted by carousell as one of the best. Read a few recent bad reviews & was skeptical initially, but still decided to give them a chance based on their many other highly rated reviews, or not. Here’s how the whole experience unfolded. 20/11/2021 Contacted Carstorm via carousell, sent pictures, prior to purchasing almost $1k worth of media player and reverse camera for my BMW. Got a reply almost immediately with the price quote and appointment details. (Got to give them credit for their prompt replies and customer service) I then told them that I can’t make it on their given appt timing as I’ve not purchased the parts. Proceeded to purchase the parts. 14/01/2022 Parts finally arrived. Contacted Carstorm again via carousell and confirmed appt @ 530pm on the same day itself, canceled all of my appointments . Rushed a trip down, 40mins drive from where I was. Got there @ 530pm, took out my media player and reverse camera, gave it to the person who was in charge, was told that there’ll be extra charge for installing the reverse camera as i did not inform them before hand, which I agreed to. Was then told that the car will only be ready at about 8pm. Since the drive back was a long journey, I said that it’s fine, I’ll just wait at their shop. Waited for almost 2 hours, and there still wasn’t any work done on my car. At about 717pm, the installer finally took my accessories, getting ready to install and realised that he couldn’t do it. They gathered, discussed & approached me to tell me that they couldn’t do it, as it consists of cutting my dashboard. So there was a total on 2-3 hours of time wasted, just to tell me that they can’t do it. I am totally fine with them being not able to carry out the job. What’s unacceptable is that, your team & you couldn’t do the most basic level of checking what the job consists of even before quoting a customer, furthermore setting an appointment at 530pm & only starting to work on the car almost 2 hours later. As a business owner myself, I couldn’t understand how does one actually quote even without knowing what kind of work needs to be done. Poor product knowledge, poor code of conduct. The only thing that I got out of them was a complimentary parking ticket, which I highly appreciate. Basically the whole trip, purchase of accessories was a wasted one. This may actually be a lesson for them to improve their standards, but this place is definitely not for me. First & last trip.

Staff are very friendly and they sell very good stuff. I bought a car cup expander and that solve my problem of only 2 cup holder in the car. Very sturdy and solid make. Sell cameras and android players too. Definitely come again.

Great place for car accessories. Thinkware is the only brand i will use for car cams. Frenly staff as well... highly recommended

A workshop for the online shopping generation. BYO device for installation, possibly a first in Singapore, you simply bring your online purchase to them and they'll handle the rest. Reasonably priced and in a very comfortable environment. Can't recommend enough of this.

Bought their tyre sensor on their shopee store, was faulty when it came (cannot do solar charging at all but its fine with me i did not flag it to them, as i wan to save the trouble) moving forward 4 month, into using the product, the product suddenly unable to turn on at all despite charging for the whole night Spoke to then via shopee chat The cs asked me to drop by their shop to have it checked Went down yesterday the lady at the counter was fast and nice enough to change a new one for me and replaced all the 4 sensors as well. Hope wont spoilt again But good service! Thanks lady!

Fantastic experience at Carstom (aka ZMC). Professional, efficient and no fuss dealings. Hassle free and reasonbly priced product along with great services are little things that are missing nowadays. But you get all these from Carstom, keep up the great work!

I do have to agree with the pervious reviewer as this is the worst car installer that I had ever met in my 12 years of driving history and I feel scammed. They had advertise well in carousel but the sales person is ignorant to follow up with my requirement. I had purchased a head unit from them with my specification mentioned but it was found later that some are unable to fulfil after my deposit is placed. Upon having the unit installed to my car, it was faulty by the button switch and the technician didn't conduct any check after the installation. Out of frustration, I had to rearrange for another trip to install the head unit afterward. Just as I though everything is alright with the 2nd replacement, the head unit is faulty with microphone unable to work properly as well there is no radio signal in compare to the initial first unit. Upon rectified with the sales team, they have provide an easy resolution by saying the head unit does not support any radio or call which it is working on my initial unit. I would rate 0 star If there is an option to both the sales and technician handling and I am extremely disappointment with their service recovery that took nearly 3 week of the report raise and it was not even near to resolve the issue. They are currently pushing blame with no detail and follow up addressed which is a good tactics to confuse the customer so that we can recall and accept their defect item. Be aware of them as initially they might sound nice and friendly but the after sales services is the worst nightmare that you can encounter.
