If you’re looking for your favourite old skool biscuits this is the place. Pineapple ? biscuits, cashew nuts, wafer biscuits just to name a few. Brands like Khong Guan & Hup Seng. The also sell ? ? ? breads & pastries but unfortunately it is not halal certified. Service is ok..

I have seen this shop around for over 20 years and possibly longer. It has been revamped numerous times so as the faces. That gives me the impression that ownership keeps changing hand whilr maintaining the old shop name. During 2022 CNY visit which I have been doing since 1981, I can see that the shop space is halfed. I bought the pink and white soft CNy candy and other stuff only to find them stale and hard. That was a day before the CNY eve. It is very wrong to be selling expired items not fit human consumption. $10 is a small expense but delivering inedible items can be upsetting. I would recommend avoiding this shop at all cost. You may wish to visit to experiment yourself to verify my claim. That will be for a good laugh and not disappointment. There is one new confectionery in the same row about 50m down that sells fresh items the last time I visited.
