It is a good place for studying and although it is quite noisy due to the work progress on the opposite lane. Everybody could go there, have a jog, and exercise at the same time.

To start off, Cedar is a good school. Self directed learning is heavily encouraged here, so teachers won't go through all topics in depth. I would say that Cedar's workload is manageable, but it can get heavy nearing exam periods. When it comes to exams, the papers that they set for us tend to be more difficult as compared to other schools. In the end, the vast majority of us are able to score decently well, with the help of our teachers and friends. On the whole, Cedar's standard is pretty high, but with hard work, those standards can be met. One thing that I really like about Cedar is the fact that our school spirit is very strong. This is due to the fact that most of the teachers and students here have very pleasant dispositions. The students here are very encouraging and supportive, be it cheering on one another for competitions or supporting one another through tough times. The teachers here are also really helpful and caring. They are very open to having consultation sessions and have no issue with clarifying any doubts that we have. They genuinely care for our well-being by checking in with us in the mornings or during CCE. Also, our aesthetics teachers are the more "fun" ones as they do really random things like singing and cracking jokes which brightens the atmosphere in class. Hence, I have full confidence that we students can place our trust in our teachers. When it comes to events and celebrations in Cedar, they are usually very hyped up with tons of participation from students. They are usually organised with the help of our school's Peer Support Board. These celebrations are fantastic bonding opportunities for classmates. We also have GLOW workouts every month, organised by the Sports Health Leadership Board in our school. What I really like about these celebrations is that they are actually super fun and engaging. They are always something to look forward to, and us students can be guaranteed that we will have a fun time. Cedar also accomplishes plenty in our CCAs. We attain multiple distinctions for our SYF participations, do well in NSG (especially track and field), and have particularly good rankings for our Uniform Groups. You can check out our CCA options on our school website. Here's some random information and fun facts cuz hey, you can never know too many fun facts. Currently, there is construction going on near the school (an old folks' home is being built) but it is ending soon, however during this period there can be occasional sounds of drilling. Our school, being located at the border between east and north-east, sometimes sparks a bit of confusion over our school's exact location- it's a great conversation starter. There are many MRT stations nearby, like Woodleigh, Potong Pasir, Serangoon, Mattar, Macpherson, Aljunied and Paya Lebar. There are also about 4 bus stops nearby which can easily bring us to those stations. That being said, the Paya Lebar Airbase is near our school, thus planes fly over our school at times, creating a bit of a ruckus, but eh, it's another conversation starter :D Our school library has just been renovated, its newest addition a study area which has segregated study desks with excellent lighting. We also have a waterfall called the "Cedar Waterfall", aka a random stream of water which falls from the 4th floor every time it rains. It is, however, quite a marvelous sight. We also have a very cool school counsellor who is super kind and cheery :)) Last but not least, we have a mascot called Cedar Mary, and yes, we sell merch of her (at reasonable prices ofc) Cedar is an extraordinary school, and I hope that my extremely lengthy review will convince you to study here. It's my second home and one of the best places to be :D

Notorious for their bad management of bullying. Teachers (Mdm Rachel Tan Tze Bin) would shame and humiliate students who approached her for help after being bullied (ie. physical and verbal abuse).

My alma mater and is a great school! I miss the Cedar spirit ! Love the United spirit which was at its heights during the National inter school Track and Field. Missed my school days a lot ! It helped me get into top Jc and my jc life could never compare to my sec school life.

Had a great time while I was a student here. The school spirit is very strong and there was no bullying (as far as I knew). A perfect place for a girl to develop and grow without having to worry about criticism or judgement. We had jogging sessions (not sure if they still do) couple times a week which fostered class bonding and sort of subconsciously encouraged fitness among us.
