Bought remote controlled power switches from them. So far so good. Their store has plenty if gizmos fro your mobile phone..home ..good pricing best of all comes with warranty

After sales service is terrible. It is almost impossible to contact the main person in charge. They engage in third party technicians/electricians and if you have issues with product they will take AGES to get back to you and service or fix the issue or product. It's like the after sales service is non-existent.

Poor products. Purchased a in car camera safevue F178 a year ago. Went in and out of the shop so many times to repair on problems such as screen blackouts, blank screen, intermittent restarting. Finally it died can't even be powered up after using for one year. Totally useless. Warranty sucks as well.

I don’t usually write reviews I believe this is my 2nd ever review. It enraged me so much to the point I want to write to warn any future potential person that saw this. Of course it is up to your own discretion to decide and in no way am I asking you to not patronise. Just be your own judge of things after reading. It was good few years back when I bought 2 car cameras in the past thus good impression fast forward to today year 2020 not anymore. Firstly I got the V9S car camera “best model”. First day got problem. SOFTWARE issues. Everytime start vehicle the camera will get stuck in a software loop basically fail to operate. Went down to change got a 1 to 1 exchange similarly same issue. On the same day send in for warranty claim. A new set exchanged mind you sent in for warranty claim. This means what? This product V9S is faulty in general. Warranty claim invoice stated “up to” 20 days. Which basically means maximum time frame in terms of consumer law. Waited 1 months + then made a call to ask and was told technician still left the job “open”. Open? You need 1 month 8days to update and reflash a software which is simple job? Today went down to collect another 1 to 1 exchange from new batch of the same model. Wasn’t expecting much and Guess what did not fail my expectations it failed again. So even the new set from new batch is faulty software side. Got a refund of $69.90, instead of the full amount paid which was $75.89 cost breakdown of 71.90$ for product + $3+ Qxpress delivery I lazy to argue or request for full refunds of the product because I just want to get it over and done with and not have any more dealings. Small money difference but definitely Ensure that I will never ever buy a product from CEF ideas again. Used to have good impression of the shop 4-6 years ago when buying directly from the boss before the business turned larger. But now in 2019-2020 I have to say that after sales service is close to naught. Customer service is like wise terrible, when the person pickup the number and can tell you that he is busy. Is it my business to care that you are busy? I think it is fair of me to have given 18 days extra beyond the promised “up to” 20 days service time frame in the warranty claim invoice before I followed up and then request for resolution immediately without further delays. In all, in regards to after sales support and warranty I will definitely not recommend anyone to purchase if that is what you seek for of your products. Sure a product below $80 is cheap and frankly I do not care about the sum but it is the follow up service and also a companies treatment of customers that you can see if they are sincere in doing business. To be fair maybe the boss doesn’t know what is going on since it is your employees running the show. And if you read this do know that I had good impression of your company and product 4-6 years back where those 2 cameras are still working today. The korean camera. But not anymore for your new line of cameras. Sorry to say but should it continue to degrade like this certainly more people like myself would shun patronising your business. Total time wasted on my end >sending camera to exchange, exchanged again on the same day> Send for warranty claim for the exchanged set> 1 month 8 days later called to push for resolution get called back to take a “new batch” > similarly faulty> refunded under value of what I paid. The end. In all, extremely disappointed in CEF ideas. Utterly disappointed and will definitely never patronise again after this horrible experience. Disclaimer this does not serve as defamatory or my intention to deter any future consumers from purchasing or have business dealings. It is simply a honest factual review of my experience after having good impression few years back and now degraded to what it is today and this is my avenue to “review” and voice my extreme displeasure on here.
