Challenger YT is a reasonable place for IT gadgets and accessories. Staff is helpful and friendly. Personally I m not a big friend of their latest app to be used for member ship. I m happy to use my IC. But they follow the quite strict - too strict? - requirements from SG government. Overall I m a happy customer to them.

Balding male Indian staff here treats customers as though we should graced by his presence and honoured we get to be in his Highness’ shop. In this trying time and the prevalence of online shopping... good luck trying to keep up with this attitude

A place for your IT products needs. The pricing may not be cheaper than some shop but they carries great range of products for you to view before purchase. Membership allows you to collect some point for rebate and normally they will ask you to join as their member. Some IT products can be cheap when they are clearing the stocks. I purchased a laptop at a bargain price.

Challenger at yew tee point has this male employee, hes in his 40s, tall, and slightly plump. He has 0 technical knowledge about the products in challenger. Eg: i ask him the difference between this $200 logitech webcam vs a $70 creative webcam, clearly ive read the packaging and did my own comparison. When i asked him, he simply read from the box and repeated things that i myself could deduce from the box. Main difference (from what i could see from the box description) is the more expensive one has a seperate mini tripod and able to record 720p at 60fps, compared to the MUCH cheaper one that has an inbuilt clamp-like universal mount that can record 720p at 30fps. I mean even a non techie would know that the difference in features that was presented on the box does not explain the >$100 difference. That irresponsible employee was also so busy talking to the more attractive female employee that was working in that same challenger, and appears slughtly impatient when called to deal with customer's questions, WHICH IS HIS MAIN JOB. A tool that doesnt work is a useless tool that takes up too much space in the toolbox, kick it out n throw it in the trash. I have previously made visits to that challenger at yew tee point before, and this SAME employee showed the exact same pathetic behaviour. I asked about the difference between a blu ray dvd burner, and a non blu ray dvd burner. Since we are of this current generation, we do not know/use much of dvd burners do we?? So naturally i asked the staff who is there to educate us about their product so we would buy. Guess what this idiot said. "one is blu ray one is not lorh" So what is blu ray??? That does not help me at all. How does the presense of blu ray make up for the ridiculous price gap??? Come on. Challenger please look into this matter, i bet there are other customers that experienced this with this guy but didnt write a review about it. Thank you

Neat place, properly labeled sections. They do know how to display items, especially ones that catch your eye (gaming section). All in all quick service as well, recommended

Many items quite expensive. Some items can order from online, but couldn't get to touch & judge the quality.

Good to get IT gadgets, especially "urgent" WFH or for Home Office.

Challenger store is the only place to have variety of ? for viewing, feeling and selection. My experience advice is that latest mouse having too much functions would not last long. Any clicking part would go haywire after some months.
