REF: 10EU10H 29/18LH I must congratulate Chan Brothers to have such dedicated tour leader like Edmund Wong, who has served the company loyally for more than 28 years and handling the Europe market. With experience, naturally comes maturity and confidence in handling our tour itinerary. Simple things like seat allocation was firmly settled by his clear instruction and explanation. Some places were closed due to activities organised by local government or strikes. But Edmund was able to make us understand and make alternative routes and times to visit the location on another day. The biggest test of his capability was when we entered a restaurant for dinner. The lady boss was bewildered and started to shout and nagged that there was no reservation done for our group and started to insist cash for payment. All the while our whole group was standing looking lost. Edmund asked the important questions: Can you cook for the dinner now? I can pay you cash. We can discuss other things later. This quieten the boss immediately and all of us were seated and within 15 minutes, piping hot dinner was served. With his leadership, all our members are 100% happy and followed him for all the side trips, which makes it more enjoyable for our group and easier for him to organise the trips. This review cannot truly encompass all the good acts, professionalism, responsibility and dedication of Edmund towards our group, but I must say me and my wife including the whole group felt at ease and thoroughly enjoyed the trip and we look forward to more trips with Chan Brothers.

Booked tickets from them to Sri Lanka before the civil unrest. Had been calling them for over a mth to cancel and change destination because of the MFA advisory but they keep giving the same reply that they have escalated higher up and will get back to us once they have cancelled. Our trip is in 2 wks but still nothing from them

Had a wonderful Australia family trip with Chan Brothers. 5 stars for their tour guide ( Paul Soh ) . Very responsible and always do his best to entertain the whole group . Awesome ?? ????

Excellent service. Made us wait over 2 hours. Manager served someone else behind us and was done in 5 mins because she preferred to speak in Mandarin. But then asked us to continue waiting. ?

Horrible experience: - was advised on inaccurate Covid guidelines - was advised by Richard that we could WhatsApp them to indicate interest and book, but our enquires and attempts to indicate interest and book were ignored and rejected multiple times - after multiple attempts and passing our case to Danny, we were left hanging and finally told that the tour was fully booked for our selected dates - had an immensely upsetting call with Richard and Danny as there was no apology and tone was very defensive and accusatory - Danny claimed “you cannot blame us” and “y’all should have taken initiative to book the tour” - received an insincere attempt at service recovery by offering us another date although we already previously stated we were inflexible on our dates - sent a complaint email but received absolutely no reply I didn’t know the onus was on the customer to keep pushing for a reply and booking non-stop, while being repeatedly rejected/ignored by the travel advisor. Chan brothers should probably just pay their customers a commission fee if they expect customers to sell the packages to themselves. Thoroughly disappointed with the poor and slipshod service, irresponsibility, lack of service recovery and attempt to pin the blame on the customer. Will not be joining Chan brothers ever again!

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Booked NZ tour packages for my wife and me. Unfortunately my wife fall very sick twice that required her to be hospitalised. Contacted Chan Brothers to seek their understanding to delay the trip but they have no compassion to exceptional cases like this. A few thousands dollar went down the drain. Vowed never to book tour package with Chan Brothers again. They are only friendly to you when you pay money. They don't even deserve 1 star.
