β β β β β Nice cosy place for a Japanese charcoal grill meal of either Saba, salmon or black cod fish or chicken with free flow of salad or orange or watermelon. Limited seating though so you may have to wait 30 mins and all pax must be present to be seated. So if there is a laggard in your group you may have to wait longer.

β β β β β The place is amazing. We had a set of charcoal grilled dried atka mackerel and charcoal grilled salmon set. Both the fishes were outstanding. They were both cooked to perfection. The salad bar was full of fresh ingredients including watermelon and oranges. We had a couple of drinks - wasabi ginger ale and yuzu cola which was also refreshing. Just a great experience overall.

β β β β β 1st time trying Charcoal-Grill & Salad Bar Keisuke. And my only regret was what took me so long so find this gem ??
What I have,
Teriyaki chicken Set with generous layer of teriyaki sauce that was neither too sweet nor salty. Chicken skin is crisp and meat is juicy.
Charcoal Grilled Salmon Set. Fish was cooked just right, with a nice pinkish hue inside. Fresh and tender.
Each set also comes with miso soup, onsen egg and a serving of Japanese rice. While the set already sound value for money, you also get free flow salad from their salad bar! I love their salad bar ???
One notable thing is that they actually offer six different special dressings for you to elevate the taste of your salad too. And I find myself liking their coffee jelly most. It's a beautiful combination of bitter coffee jelly and sweetened cream. A must try from their salad bar.
While I get to know this gem late, I forsee myself going back for more and more.

β β β β β Really good Japanese grill place. The menu is limited to several types of grilled fish or chicken, but the dishes are tastefully done. An added benefit is the buffet salad bar and the delicious Japanese rice that accompanies each main meal that will leave you very full.

β β β β β Update: Visited again today (16July). Service was horribly slow and inattentive. We waited 1hr 45 mins (6:20pm - 8:05pm) only to be informed at the table that the chicken & fish cake were sold out. If your most popular dish is sold out, shouldnβt you inform the queue? Had we known earlier, we wouldnβt have wasted our time waiting. Also forgot to serve us water & soft boiled egg.
We patronise this place frequently. It is value for money with the free flow salad bar. However, place is rather small and thereβs always a queue. Sides are always the same few. Hope they can rotate the selections

β β β β β Fish is decent here. Main focus for me was the coffee jelly! Bitter coffee mixed with coconuty cream is a heavenly combination. 10/10 for the coffee jelly. Ordered a total of around 45 servings of it for 2 people

β β β β β Went on a Sunday during lunch time and were first in queue. Waited for less than 5min.
Ordered the Charcoal Grilled Mackerel, Teriyaki Black Cod and Marinated Black Cod set. Each set came together with an egg, Miso soup, salad and dessert.
The Mackerel was good and the Cods, although smaller in size compared to the Mackerel, were even better. One of the best grilled fish we ever had. The soup, salad and dessert were generous in serving and matched the Grilled fish in expectation. And the service was good too.

The chefs in the grill station were amazing. Cooking the rice portion by portion, grilling the mains to such amazing doneness & crispness.
Really love the coffee jelly w cream and it was the highlight to end off the already wonderful meal. ?
