Chef Kin HK Noodle - 107 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4

Nice Hong Kong wanton noodle and beef brisket noodle. To me it is same taste as I had in Hong Kong a few years ago. The beed brisket is tender and delicious. Wanton is slightly bigger than Singapore wonton, and there is prawn pieces in it. Fried wanton is crispy and juicy inside. The service is quite fast too.

Pass by and managed to take away.. the wanton can taste the prawn but feel there’s no taste to it but the noodle has alot of taste .. overall I think it’s ok…

No queue today. Tried the wanton noodles dry with crumpling soup. Noodles got HK style n QQ texture, sauce just nice. Overall not bad eat, but I still think got smthing missing to make it a 5-star. Hmm..

A big difference from the one at Yishun branch. I first tried the one at Yishun few months back and I ordered the $5 one, the dumplings were bigger, soup also bigger bowl there. Today at amk, even though I ordered $6, the portion is not much of a difference from $5. The dumplings are much smaller at this amk branch. Not sure if it’s the same across all now.

The wanton noodle has the taste of Hong Kong. The prawn wanton noodle tasted fabulous, Prawn dumpling too with jam-pack prawn and pork meat. Not to mentioned the soft, tender and juicy beef brisket noodle was one of the dish that made you asked for more. Love it!

Great noodles, taste exactly like Crystal Jade but so much cheaper and at kopitiam setting. The noodles are tangy (shrimp noodles $5) and the braised beef (noodles $6.50) is tender, the chilli is the best! ? will keep patronising and hope the stall will keep on operating ?? PS: it is also housed together with the best chicken rice ($4) ?

Says the opening hours is 730, I reached at 8 the stall is not ready for business yet. The male staff asked me to wait till they switched on the lights, and I waited till 830. There was a male and female staff, both were doing work, stopped to chat for some time and then back to a bit of work and chatting again, which lasted for the 30 mins. Finally I saw the lights on and I went over to take my order, the male staff was very polite but while he was preparing the noodles he was talking to the other staff about an unpleasant incident and was using a lot of vulgarities. Ordered the wanton mee and the prawn dumpling mee. Both the noodles were not well cooked, could bite into some hard bits. The wanton was okay but the filling inside the prawn dumpling was salty. I liked the sauce and the style of noodles, but was disappointed with the way it was cooked. Would probably give it a miss.

I really find the beef briskets really tender and infused with wonderful flavour. The Wan Ton is also big and juicy. Nicely cooked noodles too. Please take the chili - it goes nicely with the noodles.
