Children Little Museum - 57 Aliwal St

This is a lesser know museum that is really worth a visit. They have all the old toys from decades ago and it's really nostalgic to look at them. There are lots of items in the museum to see even if the museum is quite small. Definitely worth the ticket price, which is not much anyway.

Small but stuffed with more vintage toys than you can imagine. $2 to check out the gallery on the 2nd floor. The old dolls and toys give the place a slightly creepy feel, though that does add to the excitement of visiting the place

We randomly walked around after finding the mural near aliwal art centre. The owner greeted us enthusiastically and asked us to come in for more phototaking. So we did. He was very enthusiastic and asking us to take photo and suggested us to pose in different ways. He helped us to take photos. Sometimes a bit too enthusiastic. We were taken back a bit as normally there wouldnt be much physical contact if you see the people for the first time. However we interpret it as he was simply very enthusiastic in showing us what this place has to offer. He also showed us a lot of postcards and photos that some of the previous visitors had sent him after their visits. After seeing the ground floor of his shop he offered us to see the second floor of the cafe next door. It turns out that there were more of his toys collections and if i was older i bet it must bring back heaps of childhood memories. Anyways, he was a bit too enthusiastic and our phone's battery was always used up from phototaking. So we thanked the owner and said bye. We promised to write a review and here we go. A hidden gem i must say. If you do not mind talking to a super enthusiastic and maybe will have a bit of physical contact when posing,then this place a worth a quick stop by. It was free of charge when we visited. Though i think this place deserve to charge a bit of entrance fee because of what it has to offer.

Quaint little museum, friendly owner. Nostalgic trip.

While looking for a dessert place, we chanced upon Children Little Museum. The enthusiastic owner invited us to tour the place at no cost. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Previously a photographer, he dressed us up in Nyonya Kebayas, taught us how to pose and took many pictures for us. Quaint collectibles ranging from a vintage vespa to soda bottles and toy robots dotted every corner. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The museum offers a fun and unique photoshoot experience. Head down to 57 Aliwal Street for some nostalgic vibes.

Perfect little place to relive childhood memories of vintage toys, games and collectibles. They’ve moved to a charming Shophouse on Aliwal Street!

Amazing museum tucked away at Aliwal street. Mr Ang is very friendly and warm-hearted, making us feel comfortable in his museum. Good for photo-taking as well! Would recommend to pop by for a visit if in the area ☺️
