The food in Chin Lee Restaurant (Bedok) were so yummy! We had our Loi Yusheng Cantonese style with top shells; A little pricey but We Love every dish we ordered: the Coffee Pork Ribs, Cereal Prawns, Seafood Rolls with fruits salad , Fish Maw with crab meat Soup, the special CNY fried rice & best of all ~ our favourite Orh Nee (Yam paste) with Pumpkins! Food 5 stars, service from waitresses : 3.8 stars.. Overall I would say it's still a pleasant dining experience for the food are all worth it.

A very traditional Teochew restaurant, probably a good choice if you would like to impress the elderly at home. Most of the food taste quite bland, not for foodie with strong taste buds. You will be able to find some unique dishes like - Chai Po Fried Kway Teow Garlic Chicken Goose These dishes are not common in most restaurants. However, some of the dishes are way too overpriced, example, the Crispy Prawn Ball (่™พๆžฃ), which costs $10 for 4 pieces.

Located in bedok north, under a hdb block, one would not expect a chinese restaurant to be here. The last time I came here was 30 years ago and its still here till this day, which says alot about this restaurant already. Service was prompt and fast. Staff were courteous and attentive. Food was excellent, everything was fresh and well cooked. In my honest opinion, it would easily beat all those wedding course dinners held at restaurants that I've had so far.

There is a saying that old is good. This sums up Chin Lee Restaurant. This restaurant is an institution in Bedok area serving generations of Teochew food fans. I celebrated my sonโ€™s Godma birthday at Chin Lee. It is situated near the famous Blk 84 hawker center. We went at 7 pm and it was already almost full house on a Tuesday night. The decorations is old school and traditional. Customer service is good and you can feel that the staffs are faithfuls of Chin Lee. We ordered the fried prawn roll and the taste is good. Not too oily but crispy enough with good flavors. Next is the coffee pork ribs and it arrived in a tin foil with a strong scent. The meat is tender and the coffee flavor is not over powering. We ordered half a roast chicken with garlic flakes and prawn crackers. This dish is average at best. The soup with conpoy and fish maw is a winner. Every spoonful is a delight. The fried oyster is also a winner. You can smell the wok hey. The vegetables dish is also great. Lastly we ordered the fried Kway Teow with Chai Poh. This is another winner. The dessert is Orh Nee with pumpkin is super good! The mango purรฉe is forgettable. Overall it has been a positive experience. Check them out.

Traditional restaurant with nice authentic dishes. Hit and misses with some of the dishes. .it seems standards are alot more inconsistent compared to precious visits . Frozen Pork Jelly is good as with the prawn rolls. The roast piglet is a disappointment. There is a sour-ish porky smell. So over overpowering that we got to send it back for refund . The oyster omelette is pretty good . The vegetable key teow and Orh Nee desserts is still good !

This restaurant goes back a long time. Traditional teochew dishes offered. During the Chinese New Year, they even serve the teochew version of the yu sheng which is not easy to find in todays time. We had dinner here and sat at the alfresco area. Food was as expected, good! Special mention to the steam promfet and yam paste at the end. The yam paste tasted so traditional, just like how I knew it tasted back then in the olden days! Prices are pretty reasonable!

First time here and we reserved the 5.30pm timeslot for saturday. Not so crowded at this timeslot, though they claim the next one at 7+ is full house. Quite a "old traditional" chinese restaurant serving dishes for banquet or celebrations. Loved the cold platter and the scallop fish maw soup! Every mouthful was worth it as you can taste the quality of it. The rest of the dishes were nice too, though i wont say it is mindblowing. Having eaten from many chinese restaurants and zichar, its quite slightly above average. Nevertheless, still a nice place to eat with good food. The orh nee was quite sweet and rich too, though idk why they dont serve with coconut. May return again for their cold platter and soup.

Chin Lee Restaurant is an all time favorite restaurant for delicious Chinese delicacies. During weekend, it is very crowded. Do make reservations before coming down during weekends. You can specify when you order if you want it to be less oily and with less salt. Food is very very nice. Fried prawn ball is crispy. I love the peanuts as snacks before dinner. Texture of the tea is just nice. Chicken is very tender and the garlic and prawn cracker is very crispy. Tofu is smooth and nice. Fish is very fresh and soup is refreshing. Spinach is soft. The noodles is super savoury. Sweet and sour pork is very juicy. Desserts are sweet and yummy too! #ILoveChinLeeRestaurant
