Generous portions for ~$7.50 per pack Nasi Padang that’s the plus. BUT beef rendang was too tough and rubbery. Avoid ordering that. Food was overly salty. And WORST of all I found this little critter (see photo of worm) in the food package. Lacking in food hygiene.

This was for $6.5. Price wise was moderate and not considered expensive. Staff's attitude generally is polite. For taste, it is not my favorite. The berkedel is quite dry, the chicken gulai less moist but the gravy is superb. Sambal goreng was too sweet for me. The best of all is the belachan, very tasty but yet not so spicy.

Prices is still Sky high even after renovation, meat taste rubbery standard cost $4 fish, chicken & meat, why don’t they categorized? If fish cost at $4 no complaints but chicken is at $4 from $3.50 go rob the bank.

Loved the sambal goreng. Went in without expectation and no regrets. So delicious yet it's no frill dinkng. Will visit again for sure. Updated : I was so tempted with the chicken rendang. I went back at night again for dinner. The rendang was absolutely tasty and it spices use packed a punch. I will totally recommend anyone who loves Indonesian/Malay cuisine to visit here. Price is worth paying for and portion is filling. I am already planning to try the black squid. People talking about staff and owner rude? I believe it's more of how they treat you with the same attitude you treat them. My first visit in the afternoon I can see that they were friendly and my evening visit the owner even recognise me and welcomed me for the 2nd time.

Food is so so. Got the mutton today 70% of the meat is fat and I only get to eat very little, taste is not great. Had onion ikan bilis and it’s also so so, not bad and not great either. Staffs are counter seems like they hate their job. Pricey too.

Had nasi lemak here, about $10 for 4 ingredients plus fish. It is home cooked style of food, not too fancy, and it is quite decent though expensive.

I used to eat every now and then at their old location in Ochard Towers Basement. They have now moved just across from where they previously were to a much bigger and better location. Had the fried chicken, vegetable and salted egg with chicken curry gravy. The fried chicken was nice and tender on the inside, and the vegetable was nice and crunchy. The gravy on the rice was also tasty as was the green and red sambal. They have around 35 dishes to choose from, and you will thus be spoilt for choice. Most of the dishes that I ate on previous visits were all good and tasty. I would say that this is the best nasi padang you can get in the Orchard Rd area. The cost of my meal today was $6.50 which is a reasonable price considering the size of the fried chicken. Service has also improved at this new location as they now have more staff. Definitely worth repeat visits.
