★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandparents have been buried at the Chua Chu Kang Lawn cemetery since the 80s. During that time, the entire place was so neat and, actually beautiful. Rows and rows of graves lined up so neatly and the grass was trimmed.
I recently visited my grandparents’ graves after an absence of around 20 years having lived overseas. The entire place has fallen to neglect. It seems the NEA doesn’t even bother cutting the grass, the footpaths can’t be seen anymore and it’s a hazard for the elderly to even visit their loved ones. Why isn’t anything done and why doesn’t the public do anything about these lazy government departments?
