川味坊香辣蟹 Chuan Wei Fang

POOR SERVICE AND LOUSY FOOD. 0 STAR! China men attitude is very very bad. Asked to bring the food over to our table beside but cannot compromise saying they are too busy. But in fact they are lazy and do not care about you after they collected your money. Simple English also can’t speak properly. Food is the worst I have ever tasted, very salty and dry. Hygiene lagi worse, mask not even wear properly when cooking! Better not come here, you’ll regret at your own expenses!!

This is our usual stall for delicious dishes that do not break a bank. The dishes are best paired with white rice. We got lucky today and our food was ready within 15minutes! Recommended dishes: spicy grilled fish, cabbage (手撕包菜), asparagus with meat (芦笋肉丝), potato strips (土豆丝). On some days, the wait can go up to 45minutes. If you're planning to have dinner, do place your order from 530-6pm to avoid long waiting times.

Delicious food and price is reasonable. Recommended! Sittings are a little hot n chaotic.

They have very good Spicy Fried Chicken (La Zi Ji) - crispy & tender and Spicy clams (La La)

Yummy food & cheap price! The sour veg grilled fish is tangy & abit spicy super shiok! $18 only can share btw 2 pp! Got black fungus, bean sprouts, beancurd strips, cabbage. The potato strips $4, not bad as well is not the sour kind so I asked the chef to add some vinegar in it & it tasted perfect! Quite spicy tho?Will come back for more :)

Authentic Sichuan dish. Very reasonable price. Must try for anybody who like Sichuan hot and spicy dish

PSA: There are many 川味坊 in People's Park Food Centre. This is the stall which faces outwards towards People's Park Complex. The stall next to it is Tiong Bahru Pau. Authentic Sichuan food. They do not spare on the peppercorns and chilli oil to suit Singapore taste buds, which I appreciate. Why have Sichuan food when what you want is the watered down version? Food is 90% of the time good. 1 out of 10 times, you may experience watered down taste (e.g. lesser peppercorn). But otherwise, I'd say they are rather consistent. Fantastic food with extremely affordable prices. Vegetables dishes start from $4 and meat dishes start from as low as $6. Ok i sound like a car salesman now. Anyway, if you are looking for affordable authentic Sichuan food, look no further. This is the place to go.

Located at the hawker centre it offers a great variety of selection. Most of their dishes are very well received. Ample wok hey and very reasonable prices. Taste beats the restaurants nearby and definitely more worth it! Would recommend! Oh they have Grilled Fish at $18 too!
