β β β β β Approximately 5mins walk from bus stop. It's not along the road, so no bus or street noises. I love going to this church especially for the 5:30pm Sunday mass because the ambience is very personal, quite and peaceful. Spacious clean and well-maintained.

β β β β β Small church above a funeral parlor. The place is very well maintained and clean. It looks like a school canteen. Surroundings are very quiet with a car park in front and a pond with carps and flowering shrubs in front of Our Lady statue.

β β β β β I witnessed the whole process of the building of this church when I was a kid. How the ground was dig, and pillars punched and laid across the cement.
All these events took place when I was staying in Block 3 Matter Road at the ninth floor watching from the kitchen balcony, before the all the flats in Matter Road were demolished.

β β β β β it's an old church with beautiful stained glass and sculpture of station of the cross ... however there is one particular Filipino female warden her attitude is not very nice kinda rude to the extent ... the rest of the wardens are alright some of them are helpful and nice

β β β β β The Church of St Stephen looks very good compared to the one that was previously build in the Canossia Convent in the 1950+ and its now accessible by the Circle Line ( Mattar Station ) and its very convenient for people who are staying around the area.
Nearby is the Canossian Convent Primary School and i was an ex student of this school ??

β β β β β A nice Roman Catholic Church that is located just about 2 mins walk from Mattar mrt station exit B. The aircon is cool and comfortable and it is not crowded even on the weekend evening mass.
After attending the church service, you can walk across the bridge of a large canal to the Circuit Road hawker centre for meals.
