Youtiao (aka dough fritters), butterfly bun, etc always great ... Worth the queue ?!

If you have plenty time and a penchant for standing in line, this is the perfect place. Snacks here tastes good and tastes even better when you've finally satisfied your intense hunger from having stood so long in line. Some might be perturbed by their serious lack of respect for patrons' time though. For the few times I've purchased from here, I realised that queue cutting is normal and welcomed by the stall personnel. I didn't find it socially acceptable to be a queue cutter so didn't plan to try it out at this stall. So I thought today I can get a snack (butterfly bun) from here quickly as there were only 3 people ahead of me. But wow I was so wrong. The stall personnel let a lady cut the queue. He moves really slowly. Like... He ambles? Objectively, perhaps being physically big in mass limits movements and probably dispenses more energy? I was contemplating to leave the queue but since I'm already 2nd in line, I should just get my snack. But after watching the man's movements for some time, I realised that I have only 14 minutes to buy & eat my snack & walk back before my lesson starts. Alas it was my turn! He told me "I'm selling the youtiao first". Then I watched him in slow mo, getting the fritters, getting payment etc. I finally figured I will be running real late if I'd decided to wait. So I cut my losses and left. Shall not be going back anytime soon. Complete waste of time.

Authentic and traditional fritters ! You tiao salty and red bean Ham Ji Png. Butterfly fritters , sweet potato fritters etc All freshly made from dough and fried immediately ! No unpleasant oily after taste at all. Really nice taste of nostalgia
