β β β β β Sec 5 was a tough year for me especially for English. The jump from S4NA to the O levels was a huge one and I struggled initially. I had failed all the English papers but Teacher Daniel still did not give up on me.
Instead, he encouraged me to keep working on the steps he taught in class instead of focusing on the negative results.
That gave me motivation to keep trying and I am grateful that I finally passed English at the O levels and successfully qualified for a good Poly course with Teacher Danielβs help!!

β β β β β My son signed up for Teacher Danielβs class in Sec 2 after struggling with Bs and Cs in Sec 1. During his 3 years with Teacher Daniel since then, he achieved consistent improvement and was able to score an A grade for English at the end of Sec 2 and Sec 3.
This was maintained through the Covid Pandemic when my son moved to full online classes. Knowing that it was a crucial year for him in 2021, Teacher Daniel also made sure that my son maintained his consistency even when online.
I am grateful for these efforts as Jadon not only maintained his A grade at the O levels but was able to breakthrough and score an A1 for English!
Thank you Teacher Daniel!

β β β β β I had consistently been scoring a C grade for English in school from Sec 1 to Sec 3. One reason for that was because I was not clear about what I was supposed to do in the exams and tests.
Teacher Daniel helped explain to me the requirements after I joined his class and that allowed me to have a clearer understanding of what to do. At the O Levels, I improved from a C grade to a B4 with his help!

β β β β β Scoring an A for English would not have been possible without Teacher Danielβs guidance. He not only helped me to maintain my focus throughout my S4 year but also constantly encouraged me when things did not go my way.
I especially appreciated how he made me break down my learning into smaller parts. That allowed me to more clearly see what I had to do differently in order to deliver a better answer.
The things I have learnt in Teacher Danielβs class will certainly stay with me beyond secondary school!

β β β β β Teacher Daniel helped my son to improve from scoring in the 60+ range for English in P5 to 80+ by the PSLE exam. That improvement assisted him in qualifying for Maris Stella High. He scored above average grades for English in secondary school since then despite the various disruptions due to Covid measures in the past couple of years.
This year, he even topped his Sec 2 class for English in SA1 after scoring A1 for the subject. We are grateful to Teacher Daniel for guiding him over the years! Thank you Teacher Daniel for the effort !

β β β β β My son Lucas was consistently scoring D7 and C6 grades for English in lower secondary. His English however improved in upper secondary after joining Teacher Danielβs class.
He was able to write with fewer Grammar mistakes and could more accurately answer basic comprehension questions. This allowed him to lose fewer marks in the exam and score a B4 grade at the O levels! Thank you once again Teacher Daniel.

β β β β β Sec 5 students tend to experience a significant drop in grades from Sec 4NA and Torres was aware about this. Instead of worrying too much about the drop however, Teacher Daniel helped Torres to work on the things he could control when preparing for the English paper.
Due to this, Torres was able to handle his exam well despite the higher standard and the fact that most of his classes were conducted online during the year.
I am grateful to Teacher Daniel for helping Torres to score a B3 for his O level exam paper!

β β β β β I had struggled to cope with English in Secondary school and I knew I needed help in Sec 4. I was scoring Cs from Sec 1 to Sec 3, and even failed in some tests.
A friend of my mum recommended that I join Teacher Danielβs O level class to get help. Lessons here were very different from what I expected. We were taught in a step-by-step manner and were made to even write out the instructions.
I did not enjoy doing that at first as I found it tedious. However, I soon realised that doing the above allowed me to better recognize what I was supposed to do when handling exam questions.
That helped a lot with my revision. At the O levels, I scored a B3 which was my best ever score for English in Secondary School.
