DUKW TOUR - 6 Raffles Blvd

An enjoyable trip with Captain Explorer Dukw Tour on 18th June. The tour leader Ms Edna deserves a 5 stars for her excellent service which make the tour an enjoyable trip, going the extra mile of video recording the trip and share with us. An excellent local tour guide. Strongly recommended to join this tour company.

Super friendly staff.. easy bookings to easy boarding. Commentor on the ride was very funny yet sharing many history about Singapore. Highly recommended to families to visit.

Great way to start your Singapore tour. It gives you sneak peek into Singapore downtown. The commentary is hardly audible due to engine noise. But they do cover large area. The commentators are enthusiastic and do their best! Overall a good experience

A very fun and relaxing tour on a Sunday evening. The tour guide, QT, on board was very kind (he is so sweet to even consider the comfort and welfare of the passenger)-I had to carry on a cup and he provided a hook so I don’t have to hang on to the item during the entire ride. His commentary was informative, light hearted, full of local insights (even locals may not know them: DNA helix bridge, MBS fourth tower and special attractive deals). Thank you City Tour for your fine staff, QT, he made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this tour to take amazing photos and experience the beauty of the city skyline of Singapore from the river!

Registration was quick, and the lady taking attendance was super lovely and helpful. Ride was okay, guide was generally a nice and enthusiastic lady, but the sudden weird preaching towards the end of the ride about the balance of good and bad was strange and unnecessary. Telling people complaining is bad just made me want to leave this review more. Maybe leave that part out in future. But seriously, management, go figure out the sets of people to take on the ride. We got on last and had to be seated separately and no we weren't late. That totally defeated the purpose, made it totally unenjoyable and a big waste of time. So glad we didn't pay for it.

Was initially unsure of how the experience would be because we had read mixed reviews. However, once the trip started we were glad we made the decision to join! :) Shout out to our tour guide William! He was a great guide who engaged the group and shared so many fun facts about the attractions and Singapore history! We loved it when the vehicle went from land to water too :) Tips: (1) Before booking a slot, definitely call in advance to find out what slots are available on the day you intend to go, and how many people are on that particular trip. If there are already people who have booked the particular tour you intend to go on, there’s a low chance of your trip being postponed (we’ve heard of this happening based on other reviews)! (2) The company told us to book our tickets via third party websites (eg klook), and thereafter email/call them so that they can confirm the tour date and timing. So be sure to do that!

An eye-opening experience in my own country Registration was a breeze and boarding was on time. Safe management measures were taken seriously and the tour guide wore a face shield on top of a mask. It can be quite loud if you are sitting towards the rear as the engine is located at the back. Ride can be quite bumpy as the vehicle - a military converted LARC V, is old and doesn't have suspension system. The tour guide was giving commentary about the surroundings the entire journey and he definitely knows what he's talking about! Very knowledgeable guy. Highly recommended if you want to experience the downtown in a different way!

Brought my folks for the Dukw tour and was pleasantly surprised that it was very well organised with friendly and professional staff. We dropped off the old folks (esp convenient for those who can’t walk long distance) at the taxi stand at Marina Square (outside Carl’s jr) while we parked our cars. Meeting point is a short walk from the drop off point just outside 7-11. The staff were very organised and the waiting time was not long till the dukw boat arrives. We could keep my dad’s wheel chair in their office and was given priority to go on board first since there’s old folks in our group. The stairs up to the boat was manageable for the folks and not steep. Tour guide on board was very professional and she entertained us with song and offer a lot of historical information that we Singaporeans don’t even know ?. She helped us took many pictures and even sent us a short montage of this trip and airdropped to us with her phone. She took out a fake durian in her bag and let us take pictures with the Esplanade at the back drop, making our trip so memorable and fun. My old folks enjoyed it so much throughout. Very well done Dukw tours? thanks again for making memories for us during this time.
