We really have a terrible experience with the kids from this school. Here is our story. We are students from Greendale Secondary and we do not know this school well, in fact, we never heard of it. We do not ought to produce sterotypes and misconceptions, but we shall tell our story so as to reduce your misconceptions about us if you have heard speculations about us. As we can see from posts online saying that some students at East Spring Secondary school is rowdy and rude, it might be true in accordance to our first impression on them. On 15 May 2018, at around 6.40pm, when my friends and I boarded bus 83 at a bus stop near Punggol plaza which was headed towards Water Way point, on the way home roughly six East Spring Secondary students were throwing rubbish around on the upper floor on the double decker bus and they were speaking loudly (almost literally shouting). When it was my stop, I walked past them and they said "ur mom". I was extremely annoyed and irritated upon their choice of irrevlant words. When I walked past them as it was my stop, my Red Cross Uniform fell off from my bag. They began to jeered at me and called me 'stupid' and they even spat on the floor. I was then much more annoyed but still ignored them as I did not wanted to cause trouble to 'hooligans'. However, my other friends who was still in the bus waiting for their stop had to listen to their loud laughter in the bus, where other passengers were still present. They threw plastic and spat on it and laughed, but no one in the public came to scold them. What I am trying to convey is that these students are public disturbance and had caused inconvenience to the people behind as they were standing and shouting at the upper deck, and also blocked the way for my friend to alight. In addition, they even scolded my friends' parents, which caused hurt and trauma as one of their family members had passed on recently. These inconsiderate kids are from this school and had cause so much mischief in public, and hurt other's feelings. I've heard that the Principal cares alot about the morale and the standard of this school, so we really do hope that something would be done to prevent these from happening again. We were not trouble makers start a real fight, despite that they initiated it and we were mature enough to know the consequences and not let it happen. They did not seem to get it. Is this the morale of your students? I hope not. We are aware that this message is very one sided and biased, but it is really true and reliable as it had been seen by us, and even in the public. To those who were in the bus, you know who you are, and you know who we are. We expect an sincere apology as you demolished the reputation of your school. Annoymous students of Greendale Secondary

Nice school with kind and caring teacher loving my classmate as we are bonding together

Very bad school. Standards have dropped over the years. Teachers acting like they are some big shots. The good ones has left while the good ones who are still teaching there are suffering

Some students are really clique in this school and will not cooperate or talk to you during group work, leaving all the work to be done by you. They'd go to other group's table to talk to their friends while ignoring the task they're supposed to do. Classroom size: I don't get why MOE likes to have such massive amounts of students in 1 single classroom, it only serves to let people fall behind. It'd be a lot better if they have smaller class sizes so the teacher can have less workload and can support their students further. Depth over breadth.
