It's tempting to buy already here, but don't do this, unless you are absolutely sure about what you want and what you are willing to pay. The conversation will be pleasant enough, but at the end they will try to sell you additional stuff like extra batteries, filters etc. which will ruin the deal. Of course these might be useful additions, but the price becomes utterly intransparent. I've paid way too much by stepping into this trap. In case you think of re-negotiating after the deal, forget about it. Ultimately it was your own fault buying there and letting yourself being lured into buying a "nice" package. Very bad after-shopping experience.

This is, without any doubt, the WORST retail outlet I have ever had the misfortune to visit. Under no circumstances be tempted to shop here. On advice from "George" purchased a wide angle adapter lens which was not the Olypus part I wanted having been the part I was sold was superior. It turned out to be incompatible and so I returned it. I asked for the Olympus part or a refund. The "salesman" attempted to tell me I did not know how to focus, then once I showed him the problem (horrible CA and distortion). He then said he could not get the Olympus part. I pointed out the Olypus logo on the shopfront. I asked for a refund. I told it was impossible, illegal and various other fabrications. I was subjected to a steam verbal abuse, racial abuse and hostility, threatend with legal action, told I was a little person, could not have a refund, couuld not talk to the owner....in fact it is so bad litenting to the unhinged ravings of the rep it was almost funny. I intend to return to the shop next week, so if you want a laugh turn up and watch "George" work up to a coronary as he attempts to deny reality once more...

DO NOT shop at Edison Electronics at Sim Lim!!!! I have purchased 4 lenses there over the past year thinking I was getting a deal. I went in today and purchased a lens which I was of course told was great and I'd pay only $650 for. so trustingly stupid I purchased it. Not 30 min later I was googling the settings for it and saw it for sale $139 USD. I was beyond pissed and went to China Town and Funan to price same lens, only $250 SGD at Funan and $240 in China Town. I went back 1 hour later for refund and I was refused. I stayed arguing and telling potential customers to leave. When my girlfriend showed up who is local Singaporean they pulled me in the back to try to offer me free batteries. I refused and threatened to cancel payment so they offered me $150, I declined. After this scenario my girlfriend researched the camera she just purchased from there for $1300 and found the average cost in SG is $750 for that model. This place needs to be shut down

I am a seasoned photographer. Happens that they had a card reader that was unavailable everywhere. It retails at 85 sgd which the staff was probably unaware and they quoted me for 166 dollars. Upon showing evidence that it retails for half its price elsewhere they informed me that they were the only ones selling it and I had to pay that price if I wanted it. Dishonest sellers. I did not make the purchase and walked away. I would advise all photographers and those to be to stay away from this shop.

Its a scamsters shop. Please do not shop here. The guys sold me a lens filter for about 200SGD which was worth 40SGD. On enquiring the rates outside the shop and getting back to them for a refund. They told me it was a lens. Despite repeatedly telling him the difference between a lens and a filter this guy just wanted to rob me of my money. There was no motive for him to sell a good product.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! They cheat people. We went to buy a lens, a Nikon lens. But they gave an unbranded lens. Was very cunning. Specially the person call Cecil Perera. We were cheated for S$400. We did not have internet to check the ratings or the reviews of this so called lens. It was not a lens. It was a magnifier. I just saw all the reviews, I think this shop has a very bad reputation. This is a blackmark for the country too. I reall,y hope this shop should be closed soon. S$ 400 means so much to us. I really curse this person for cheating so much.

I can just agree with everybody else: Never buy here unless you are 100-percently sure what you are doing. After having bought a totally overpriced lens I were "allowed" to exchange it for a better one against additional payment. This probably wouldn't have been the absolutely worst deal I ever made, hadn't the new lens been partially damaged as I found out the following day. I came back two days later and tried refund it but that day another guy was in the store and said I could only refund to the person I originally bought from. He refused to tell me his name and even threatened me with physical violence when I wanted to take a picture as proof that I have been at the store trying to refund.

Like others said they are scammers. They tell you they are official Nikon shop but they are not. They sold me lens without box or warranty (they ask additional price), additionally they scam you with addons (like filters etc) for very high price. Unfortunately I was in the rush and didnt think it through as I should and bought from them. Dont make the same mistake.
