Super lousy service, this is the worst saloon I ever go. The service is the worst encounter ever in my life.

Reasonable price, no hardselling, good advice and good service.(Well,all this compliment is when i first time visit and what i feel at the moment) Then, i have visit again but this time round makes me so disappointed. Some time good services and good advice is depend on the person.

Went thr during chinese new year, girl cut my hair extremely fast and look decent still decent. However the way she cut her looks like she trynna scrape my scalp with her shaver. 1/5 not recommended if u want a good experience.

Elite Hairdressing & Beauty Salon 81 Whampoa Dr #01-903. This was previously a value for money place for a no-frills haircut. The hairdressers there were generally friendly and patient. Customers feel at ease. These days, it felt AS IF YOU OWE THEM A HUGE FAVOR to spend that few minutes to cut your hair. My previous visit there was 2 months ago, where everything felt rushed despite visiting on a weekday afternoon with no other customer after me. I went for just a haircut, and was attended by a male hairdresser from PRC (Mr.A). (I have had a very good experience with another PRC male hairdresser (Mr.B) who even made small talk and took time to make sure that my hair was cut neatly). However, this time Mr.A took what felt like 3 to 4 minutes to complete the cut, rushing through (sometimes quite roughly). His whole attitude was "get it over quickly". Their rate is $5, and even Snip Avenue doesn't give customers that lousy feeling. I had forgotten about that bad experience, and happened to be in the vicinity needing a haircut and naturally walked into this salon. Attended this time by a female hairdresser who is either local or Malaysian. Was also surprised that it took only about 5minutes. Everything felt rushed, as if she was competing with others to see who can complete in the shortest time possible. Please note that there is NO other customers waiting in line. Upon returning home and after a shower, several strands of hair can be seen sticking out of place at a couple of areas. Recommendation: Used to be reasonably good, but is now a rushed and makes you feel lousy place (ESPECIALLY from that male PRC hairdresser). If you are short of time and in a REAL hurry to get your hair shortened, you can give them a visit. Otherwise, drop by another $5 haircut salon to try out their service. It might turn out better.

Like others said, even where there is nobody else, the haircut is completed very quickly in less than 5 minutes. However, the price of the haircut ($5 all length) was exceptional, and the end product was very satisfactory. Personally, I prefer a quick cut-and-go compared to a slow cut-and-chitchat anyway, so this works out for me.

Service is lousy, i asked to trim abit of my sides, he proceeds to shave off. When asked to show me the back or cut other parts: shows me attitude

just went today! was actually my first time there & the person who took me was rly nice & patient w the whole process. i left most of it up to him to decide & in the end it turned out well :) i got my hair cut short & highlights! thank u!! i never rly got ur name but im the girl with the pink ipad HAHAHA
