Great teachers, literacy intervention programs. Long wait list so call early to book assessment. I waited almost a year for my son to be assessed for literacy intervention (different from dyslexic assessment) . He was in K2 when I called. His assessment was done in P1. He used to be 1-2 years behind peers in literacy ability, but by end of p3, he was assessed to be a year ahead of his peers. My son was also diagnosed to be dyslexic in P2 (which we did externally), which explained why he was struggling with reading and spelling so much. He used to be afraid of reading aloud in class, but he is a confident young boy now who is not afraid of English. Program is open to everyone who thinks your child needs literacy intervention. It is not limited to dyslexic children so there is no urgency to get the child assessed for dyslexic. Good news is that there is no homework for the child! Teachers are very patient and skilled to teach the child. Small teacher to student ratio.
