★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had changed my specs/lens to progressive lens Essilor in 2019. In less than 3 years the coating on the lens are peeling off. When I went back to optician who sold me the specs, he said the Essilor lens is good for 3 years. Thereafter I have to change new ones.
Previously when I was wearing less known lens they lasted for more than 10 years until there is change in prescription. I paid more than S$800 for the lens. I am puzzled whether the optician's opinion is correct.
Can Essilor advise?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coating peels off and gets worse day by day without any mishandling. Quality control for coating went wrong for this pair. I have never encountered such scratches / peelings with my previous purchase for Crizal and Eyezen products despite using them for 3-4 years.
This pair of glasses was purchased in late 2019.
Disappointing experience as there’s no service recovery from essilor due to “1 year warranty on manufacturing defects has lapsed”.
