★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Job seekers beware!! My colleagues and I have been retrenched - 3 of us were in secretarial and 2 were in administration work. This "recruitment" agency had posted openings for secretarial / administrative positions. The requirements were pretty straight forward as what you would expect from the usual secretarial / administrative duties. 5 of us had forwarded our resumes over and none of us had heard or received any responses from this agency. And whenever they post for an opening, they also stated that those who had applied before are encouraged to apply again. If the job is not suitable for the candidates who had applied, why encourage and waste the job seekers' time to reapply again?? Upon their 1st application, does the agency not already have the candidates' resumes?? Sounds fishy to me, indeed.
